I help women leaders and changemakers own their voice and build personal brands rooted in identity, clarity and purpose.

Much of my work supports women who are capable, experienced and mission-driven, but feel overlooked, unseen or unsure how to communicate the value of what they carry. They know they are called to more, but don’t want to lose themselves trying to be visible.

My approach to personal branding is identity-led. Not trend-driven. Not performative.

When identity is clear, confidence steadies. Messaging sharpens. Presence strengthens. Visibility becomes intentional rather than exhausting.

Alongside my work as a personal brand strategist, I am a keynote speaker, facilitator and MC, working with organisations, networks and events to support leaders and teams around voice, identity, presence and purpose-led leadership. My sessions are grounded, practical and reflective, helping people communicate with clarity and confidence rather than performance.

I am also a broadcaster, author and the founder of Heartsong Live Radio, a values-led radio station I built from the ground up and grew onto mainstream DAB. Creating platforms where voices are heard, valued and elevated is not just what I teach. It is what I live.

As the first African woman to start a radio station in Scotland, my career has been shaped by navigating leadership, visibility and identity in spaces where women are often expected to shrink. That lived experience informs how I support others.

My work sits at the intersection of purpose, mission and profit. I believe meaningful work deserves to be resourced, and women should not have to choose between impact and sustainability.

Remember I said I had my first live business pitch coming up?

Well it happened yesterday. I will be honest, my body tried to talk me out of it.

Before the event even began, something unexpected happened. I had a panic attack. I have never had one before and it felt really strange. The sweating, the dizziness, the numb hands, and that horrible sense that something is wrong even when you cannot explain it.

Thankfully Natalie Garry Dana Drzikova Nicola Thomson-Berwick helped me calm down and find my breath again. I am genuinely grateful.

When the time came later, I was able to stand up and deliver my one minute pitch.

Not because I suddenly felt fearless. But because  I remembered what I tell my clients all the time. Start before you feel ready.

Thank you to the AccelerateHER  team for the opportunity and creating such a  supportive space for female founders. Was so good meeting and connecting with so many other founders.

There are seasons when you feel stretched before you see the change. 

Sometimes we feel that pull to rush it. To fix it quickly. To get clarity now, results now, confirmation now.

But I’ve learned that God is not in a rush with us. He refines. “He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.” (Malachi 3:3)

Refining usually happens in the quiet. It happens while you are still moving forward, still obeying, still doing the work nobody claps for.

Plans can change. Your structure can grow. But your identity has to stay anchored.

Because when you know who you are, you can grow without losing yourself.

And when you trust the One who called you, you do not have to force what He is forming.

Sometimes the real work is not changing everything around you, but staying rooted in who you are.

Saturday was one of those days that reminds you why community matters.

We gathered for our Adelphe Connect team meet-up at Almond Valley, and I left feeling genuinely grateful. 

Grateful for the women who give their time, their care, their energy, and their presence. Volunteers are not a “nice extra” at Adelphe Connect. You are the reason women walk into a room and feel safe. You are the reason someone feels seen again.

We also shared something important. Our direction for Adelphe Connect is growing, and it is intentional. As we continue to talk about change, it matters to say we are walking through change too, with care and purpose.

We also had the joy of welcoming new volunteers, and introducing a new Community Engagement Manager who will support our West Lothian drop-in. I am excited for what we are building together.

I cannot share the full details just yet, but I can say this: what is coming has been shaped by listening, learning, and making sure the work can continue with consistency and care.

Valentine’s Day has a way of reminding us that love matters.

Not just the big gestures. The flowers. The dinner. The photos. But the quieter things that hold a relationship together. Patience. Tenderness. The choice to stay kind, even when life feels heavy.

And if we are honest, midlife can feel heavy.

From our late thirties and forties onwards, many couples begin to notice subtle shifts. Energy changes. Sleep changes. Mood changes. Confidence can change. Desire can change. 

Sometimes it is hard to name what is happening, and even harder to explain it to the person you love most. When hormones shift, relationships can feel it too.

What breaks my heart is how often good couples begin to misread each other in this season.

Fatigue gets read as distance. Overwhelm gets read as coldness. A change in intimacy gets read as rejection.

And instead of compassion, couples start carrying quiet confusion.

At Adelphe Connect, we have supported many women through midlife transitions, and one thing has become clear. Partners need language. They need understanding. They need a safe space to learn what is changing, without blame.

A daytime experience designed mainly for couples 40+, and also open to couples approaching this season, who want to stay aligned through change.

It is not counselling. No one is put on the spot. No public sharing is required. It is a respectful, clinically informed space with practical tools couples can take home.
