My clients watched their LinkedIn views explode after they stopped posting 7 days a week and used 1 empty day to trigger the algorithm.

Even today it’s still crazy to see views actually GO UP the day after nothing is published.

I can think of 3 reasons why this works: 

1. Many people get tired of seeing a new post everyday (even if it's on a subconscious level) so skipping one day a week encourages long term followers.

2. It prompts LinkedIn to boost old posts (LI is doing a better job of promoting old content, so not posting for a day may encourage the algo to push a lot of your older stuff)

3. It teaches diehard fans who don't want to "miss anything" to visit your profile to find your content (and once they get there, they may look at several posts)

Struggling with your elevator pitch? 

Try writing a really good LinkedIn profile headline and you will be 90% of the way there. 

(Especially if you max out the 220 character limit) 

Pro tip: Don’t start with “I help” if you want to stand.

Getting 100+ likes/comments on your posts from other coaches & founders probably won’t move the needle much for your business. 

You need to figure out a way to leverage that attention to bring in actual sales.

Your profile shouldn’t be secondary to your content. 

People are looking for reasons not to buy. Don’t give them any.
