In 2022, I assisted Vic Roy with transitioning his Private Wealth business to Morgan Stanley. This business consisted of a multi-family office approach with an average client net worth of $50M+. We also continued our initiative in Exit Planing towards the SMB/MMB space by advising on multiple eight and nine figure exits. This clearly led to a deep focus on estate and legacy planning. 

Within my first few months at Morgan Stanley, I was invited to apply and ultimately accepted to be a member of the prestigious PWAA program that only accepts 10 members per cohort.

During the transition to Morgan Stanley, I was able to re establish as well as enhance many of the tax optimization strategies that I deployed at UBS.

Private Wealth Advisor

I joined Managing Director Vic Roy in 2021 as a partner to lead the strategic planning practice within his private wealth business. Within the first year on the team, I implemented multiple strategic planning initiatives that helped to boost production by 25%+ during a bear market. These strategies helped our clients to optimize their tax efficiency as well as protect their downside.They included:

- Pairing direct index investing with opportunity zone funds
- Security backed lending arbitrage with structured yield investments 
- Pre sale planning around the SALT Tax workaround among other strategies 
- Private foundation creation and implementation

Financial Advisor 

During my time as a WPA, I worked with the top teams in the DC market to create and execute strategic planning engagements. The majority of my work was with founders planning around M&A or exit transactions. One of the teams that I worked with exclusively was The Capital ESOP Group, one of the leading advisors in the 1042 space.

While in the role, I worked on billions in collective exit value where strategic planning led to tens of millions in tax optimization.

- Co-led effort to launch Nashville office that focused on building the entertainment side of the portfolio.

- Identified opportunities to increase revenue intra company by connecting properties through partnership to boost ROI. 

- Developed, placed, and executed 5-hour ENERGY's national country music platform with anchor artist Dierks Bentley. This included nationally broadcasted television advertisements as well as a joint marketing campaign with 7/11 stores. 

- Created custom marketing platform for Sugarlands Distilling Co. around country music star Cole Swindell including a custom product line and royalty agreement. 

-Used artist/brand specific social analytic and demographic analyzation process to design and pitch partnership programs for artists such as Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, and Luke Combs among others. 

- Worked with clients and venues to create marque activation and hospitality experiences at concerts around the country to further enhance partnerships.

-Enhance portfolio of sports and entertainment clients/properties through targeted marketing and social media

- Helped identify opportunities for revenue growth by expanding partnerships

In 2017, I toured with Dierks Bentley (not a musician).

Since 2018, I have advised entrepreneurs with a collective net worth in the billions of dollars on efficient optimization and exit strategies.

Now, I am helping to future proof the supply chain, build Industry 5.0 and give business owners a path to greater exits with Matium. 

I also founded BlueFin Strategies to continue to help founders and entrepreneurs optimize all aspects of their balance sheet.

As a realtor and real estate attorney, I help people with all things real estate.

I teach real estate classes to Realtors, loan officers, title companies, and real estate investors.
I own two real estate companies and help run a law firm, where I practice real estate and business law.
I regularly advise 100+ brokers and agents.

On the legal side, brokers have come to me personally to fix real estate problems with property valued at $10,000,000+. I've worked on complex real estate and commercial litigation cases in a few U.S. states, at various appellate levels, and I started doing that work over 10 years ago.

On the real estate side, I've had people come to me for transactions in the $100,000,000+ range, including project across the U.S.

My real estate tax knowledge has also drawn people's interest.
Clients have come to me for tax advice on the sale of property worth $100,000,000+. 
Some of my clients will pay about $0 in income tax. (It's actually pretty simple and still possible for regular people of nearly any income bracket in 2023.)


My goals:

1. Help everyone invest.
Everyone who buys a home is a real estate investor, whether they know it or not. By explicitly and intentionally investing, you maximize your returns. I'm deeply passionate about real estate because owning investment properties has a huge, long-lasting impact on wealth. Real estate has been and continues to be the best and most accessible route to building wealth and financial freedom. 

2. Help business owners and established investors.
I've helped institutional real estate investors, done commercial work, and helped business owners buy and sell their business, and I would love to do more of that!

3. Help regular home buyers and sellers get the best deal possible.

4. Help law clients.
I specialize in real estate and business law. Though, my law firm is essentially full service.
