I have a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford University, so I was into ML and AI before it was cool. 
I was also part of the Seedcamp Expert Collective, where I mentored and advised portfolio companies on product and technology best practices and challenges. This was a great testing bed for how to run a startup/scaleup, before launching my own business.

As a backend engineer, a storyteller, a speaker, a futurist, and a feminist, I am passionate about using tech for good and creating positive social change.

Typing this from my hospital bed, 12 hours post endometriosis surgery.
You'd think I'd be bingeing Netflix. 

Instead, I'm working on our Series A deck. Emailing VCs. Reviewing job descriptions for our APAC expansion. AND bingeing Netfllix 😉 

NOT because I have to! My team is brilliant and they've got it covered. But when your body's been chaos and torment for a year, when you've spent months in and out of hospitals, sometimes your business feels like the one place that makes sense.

This isn't about a 996 schedule. It's not "work is my ONLY identity" and I must grind through all pain because entrepreneurship demands it.

It's that I actually love what I'm doing. The challenges of rapid growth are fascinating. The technology is cutting edge. Our clients are putting big budgets behind transforming their businesses with AI, and they're damn fun to work with. The people at 5D energize me.

Right now, when so much feels out of my control, building this company gives me a reason to get up in the morning. That's not a burden. That's a gift.

Some people find peace in meditation or nature walks or turning everything off. I find it in tackling a hard problem, in moving our vision forward, in conversations with smart people about things that matter. (And in reading scifi, fantasy, and psychological thrillers non-stop.)

It's official! We are opening an office in Singapore and we’re HIRING 🇸🇬🎉 The demand we're seeing in APAC has made it clear we need to establish ourselves there properly.

We're already working with leading investment managers across Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore who are using our platform to automate the complex workflows that actually drive their business forward - from deal assessment through due diligence to portfolio reporting.

And Singapore makes sense as our launch pad for the region for a few reasons. 🌏

We're talking about a $130 bn+ commercial real estate market across Singapore and the broader APAC region. And our product is uniquely positioned to serve it - we easily API with local relevant data sources, and already work seamlessly in Mandarin, Japanese, and the languages our customers need to do business.

I'm back in San Francisco next week for the first time in 6 years! Friends - what does post-COVID SF even look like?? I guess I’m about to find out. 

When I was doing my PhD at Stanford and working my first tech gigs, I lived in the Mission. You'd go to a restaurant and 9 out of 10 people sitting around you were chatting UIX and GTM strategies. You could FEEL the excitement through the sheer density of SaaS acronyms.

The Bay is also where I fell in love with cycling, and biked competitively for a few years, on magical mountains like Tam and Diablo. So it has a special place in my heart.

But it’s a strange place. Tiny compared to Manhattan or London, 7x7mi peninusla, packed with more tech capital and talent than anywhere on earth. I kept walking to work thinking, ’If I want to sell software to real people, I need to be AROUND more real people, not just other software nuts.’

So I left.

But I’m baaaack, with a business that’s now primarily US revenue generating.

And there sure is something about being surrounded by people who care about the same thing you do. 

I’m mostly doing fundraising meetings, BUT if you're an investment manager, asset manager, or involved in real estate finance - I’d love to speak with you. We have a lot of clients in LA but not many in the Bay Area yet. And it's an area actively experience a housing crisis ofc, so I'd be really interested to get some insights on the market.

When I look at our most successful customers -  they all do ONE thing differently. They're not the ones with "AI ready by 2030" strategies. 🥱 They're the ones who made AI one of their strategic priorities - AND THEY MEANT IT. 

They found the people in their business who were already tinkering with AI. The ones who couldn't help themselves. Then they put those people in a room with us to figure out what we can actually do here.

Your AI tinkerers are your biggest competitive advantage. These people are gold. They know your business inside out AND they're curious enough to experiment.

They understand your domain, understand your business, and have growth mindset - they want to explore, want things to change, want the organization to learn so it can do things better and have more fun doing the work.

There's real power in learning by inference through tinkering. The multiplicative effect of that kind of knowledge combined with deep domain expertise in how your business works - THAT IS the future. That's the artistry of AI-human collaboration. 🧠🤖✨

It took us most of 2025 to figure out we were playing stupid games to win stupid prizes (yes, I’m a Swiftie 🙋🏻‍♀️) But looking back at last year - all of our biggest mistakes were exactly that.

First half of the year, we built out a solutions engineering team: a concierge service layer for enterprise clients who needed extra technical support. This is what Palantir calls forward-deployed engineering. It made sense to get close to our clients' workflows, and have our team make the offering bespoke to serve them.

But what we actually did was drive a wedge between the tinkerers at our clients' businesses and the work they wanted to do - like updating an excel model.

They want to sit and do it at two in the morning with their cup of coffee like every other analyst in the world, not have to go through a person in our office.

We didn't realize it at the time because we were trying to do a good thing by offering something extra in our service, but it dampened the excitement and velocity with which some of our clients could get their critical work done. 

We were playing the wrong game, so we needed to change the rules.

We needed to put users in the driver’s seat, enabling them to edit 5D-generated workflows and create their own skills through conversation with our AI agent!

Since August last year, we’ve been building a community of power users who do just this - and they’re already seeing higher returns for major revenue streams. 

We've definitely launched a new era here and we're doubling down on that in 2026!
