We've all heard the saying, "Practice makes perfect." But when it comes to software engineering, the real growth happens outside of the 9-to-5 grind. 

You can become a good software engineer through daily work assignments and on-the-job experience. 

However, the path to true greatness lies in what you do after work hours.

The harsh reality is that workplace projects often involve constraints, deadlines, and compromises (read Scrum and Jira :). 

You may only sometimes have the luxury to explore cutting-edge technologies, experiment with novel approaches, or dive deep into complex problem-solving. 

This is where your projects and self-driven learning come into play.

After work, you can stretch your skills, explore new territories, and tackle challenges that challenge your curiosity. 

It's an opportunity to learn at your own pace, make mistakes without consequences, and push the boundaries.

So, if you aspire to become a great software engineer, don't limit your growth to the office walls. 

Dedicating time after work to personal projects, contributing to open-source initiatives, attending meetups or conferences, or playing with new languages or libraries is crucial.

Soy un Ingeniero de Sistemas apasionado por el Desarrollo de Software y la implementación de nuevas tecnologías. Realmente disfruto mucho de mi profesión y de mi trabajo. Además, me he podido desempeñar en contextos de negocio tan variados como el sector de las telecomunicaciones, el retail, el transporte aéreo y la banca donde actualmente me encuentro.

En cuanto a mis habilidades técnicas, poseo conocimientos en los lenguajes C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML y en tecnologías como NodeJs, Angular, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Kendo UI, ASP.net, ADO.net, LinQ, WebApi y Asp.net MVC. También poseo destrezas para el desarrollo de Servicios Web, SOAP, API Rest y Restful, desarrollo de sistemas de información, desarrollo FrontEnd y Backend, diseño y desarrollo de soluciones on premise, orientadas a la nube o híbridas, arquitectura n-capas, diseño guiado por el dominio, desarrollo guiado por pruebas, arquitectura limpia, arquitectura de microservicios (AKS, Service Fabric), pruebas unitarias,  análisis de código estático, manejo de repositorios de código con git en BitBucket, GitHub o Azure Repos, bases de datos relacionales (SQL Server, Oracle, MySql) y no relacionales (MongoDB, CosmosDB). 

En lo que tiene que ver con otros lenguajes, poseo un nivel de inglés intermedio por lo cual puedo comprender fácilmente textos en inglés y sostener conversaciones, así como también puedo escribir contenido.
