Parlement Jeunesse du Maroc

As a founding team member of the Parlement Jeunesse du Maroc (PJM), a youth parliament simulation in Rabat, Morocco, I played a key role in shaping an initiative where 200 participants (ages 17-25) gather annually from all regions in Morocco to propose legislative recommendations and general suggestions to the government. The program is structured into six commissions, addressing pressing youth concerns in areas such as Tourism, Education, Gender Equality, and Technology, while ensuring respect for cultural authenticity and diversity.

Key Contributions:
- Partnered with international youth simulations like Parlement Jeunesse du Québec (PJQ) that inspired the initiative to exchange best practices and send PJM representatives to participate.
- Proposed legislative reforms and digital transformation solutions to improve administrative efficiency and reduce bureaucratic hurdles for youth. 
- Contributed to a commission focused on raising the minimum marriage age and challenging restrictions on divorced women’s rights to act as legal guardians.
- Led events and represented the initiative in Tangier, Rabat, and Casablanca.
- Established collaborations with the Ministry of Youth to secure parliamentary venues and support.
