🦋 My journey has been like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.

At first, I felt trapped and unsure.

But over time, I learned to spread my wings and find my true path.

🌱 I started my career as a doctor, treating patients and diagnosing health conditions.

But I dreamed of something bigger—impacting public health on a larger scale.

So, I transitioned to public health, where I found my true calling.

For over 10 years, I’ve worked on projects improving health for vulnerable populations.

🌍 I’ve led multimillion-dollar initiatives and collaborated with WHO and UNICEF.

But the biggest challenge came when I moved to Canada.

I had to rebuild my career from scratch as an immigrant.

It wasn’t easy, but I soon realized:

𝟭. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 – 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
Yes, you’ll use data, evidence, and frameworks.
But success comes when you also understand systems, policies, and people.
You’ll need to connect the dots between health, education, gender, and equity.


𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 – 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹
You’ll often explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
From writing grant reports to presenting to communities—how you speak matters as much as what you say.
