I'll be taking a short break, spending more time with callers to Samaritans and fixing my golf slice, before starting my next project in Jan.

Onwards and upwards 💪

There’s been real vibe about vibe coding recently, so I had to have a play around…. 🤓


In Q2 I hired 30 folks, across 4 countries! There was A LOT of switching from USD to GBP, PLN, MXN different variable rates etc. I needed a way of giving accurate compensation details to all candidates whilst making sure I wasn't blowing the budget and winding up Finance. 

So, I built a compensation converter in google sheets with live currency exchange rates and the ability to change the total comp and variable rate. 

It was a LIFE SAVER. 🙏

This morning I jumped into Gemini and after 20 mins had built out this microsite. 

It’s simple, but effective. 

I can instantly change the OTE budget and variable rate to get a breakdown for each currency. 😍

I’m also thinking of building out something similar that’s an illustration of base, variable, equity and benefits for candidates to get stuck into.
