Quality/ Process Control Engineer

Worked as a Production Supervisor at Juruti Mine responsible for tailing ponds, and managing the water system.
Responsible for
•	Water management of the bauxite beneficiation.
•	Supervision and safety of tailing dams.
•	Managing a team.
•	Managing and controlling the operation costs.
•	Analysis and support of the CAPEX projects.
Achievements
•	In the period while I was responsible for tailing ponds, Juruti Mine obtained the best results in the analysis of dam safety risks in LD3, according to the regulatory government institution (DNPM).

Production Supervisor

Worked as a Mining Engineer in the Mine Operations Department, developing projects related to the management of contracts (over $2M monthly), plant extraction and recovery of degraded areas in the bauxite Juruti Mine. I was also a member of the “New Engineers Program”, an institutional program aimed at boosting the technical careers of engineering graduates.
Responsible for
•	Reducing costs in contractual processes.
•	Enforcing contractual clauses.
•	Supervising external companies.
•	Contract control.
•	Monthly financial analysis of activities performed.
•	Analysis of operational performance.
•	Implementation and monitoring of production and productivity indicators.
Achievements
•	First graduate engineer to be given a permanent position (one year ahead of schedule), and winner of the award (training course and trip to Pittsburgh) for improving the actual model to recover the degraded mining areas, which helped the company save money and recover the damaged environment.
•	Obtained the first excellent score in auditing, for ensuring stability of activities through an effective and efficient management program, and significant reduction in incident rates (IRR and DART) while acting as a mobile equipment SPA at the Juruti Mine for two years.

Support 
•	Weekly mine planning;
•	Adherence of the ore transport, controlling the plans and their realization;
•	Analysis of operational performance and scaling of the plant's load silo.
Achievements
•	Technical analysis of the implementation of new dispatch software, with diagnosis of the current situation;
