A few years ago, during an exit interview, I asked an employee a simple question:
What made you decide to leave?

I was prepared to hear the usual — better #salary, #careergrowth, a bigger #brand.

But he looked at me, paused for a moment, and said something that stayed with me:

That sentence shifted the way I think about #retention and #leadership.

 💛 When Sunday anxiety becomes normal
