8 years ago this month I gave EY notice that I was leaving to start my own firm. In retrospect, I applaud my naive energy, but I must admit I had no idea what I was doing. 😕

👋 My name is Fernando Torres, and I’m a 5-time author, CPA, and small business owner.

I started out as a carpentry trainee but I transitioned to accounting. 

Theory learned in school was mostly inapplicable or didn't make sense until I had my own business.

✅ Since then, I've been able to grow my own business and income.

✅ Since I'm a God-fearing man and CPA. I've had to find deductions that were allowed and beneficial to my pocket.
