✶Negotiating with suppliers to clarify all technical aspects of the RFQ

Technical Sales Manager

Behran Oil Co.

Behran Oil Co. (http://www.behranoil.com) is one of the largest lubricant producers in Iran. It is the most famous company regarding the quality and diversification of its products in the country. It has over 220,000 tons capacity of base oil production per year. 

Highlights:

✶Coordinating the erection of a new Blending Plant ($3 million) with 30 000 MT/Y capacity on site of the existing refinery utilizing Distributed Control System (DCS)  
✶Leading the engineering team to prepare a feasibility study for the production of furfural solvent from sugar cane bagasse 
✶Evaluating tender packages for the engineering and construction phase 
✶Coordinating the erection of a new Furfural Plant ($10 million) in the south of Iran for production of 3000 MT/Y Furfural from sugar cane bagasse
✶Coordinating the establishment of a Tank-Farm Terminal ($12 million) in the south of Iran (Imam Khomeini Port) with the storage capacity of 25 000 MT for export/import of oil products. 
✶Managing the building of on-shore facilities of a modern Grease and Lubricants Blending Plant in Saveh, 120km South of Tehran on a 50-50 joint venture basis with TOTAL France.
Laying 4800 meters of 8-inch pipes including steam and condensate pipes from Tank Farm Terminal to the sea port
✶Negotiating with international oil companies: TOTAL (France), IFP (France), Axanes (France), and invited them to bid on tenders, provide feasibility studies, arrange financing, design, supply and installation of equipment, commissioning and personnel training  for the Turnkey Project (New Lube Oil Refinery Project to be established in Tabriz Iran using Hydro cracking Technology).

Refinery Expansion Project Team Lead (May,1998 – April,2001)

✶Executing four expansion projects to increase capacity of the refinery from 30,000 to 150,000 MT/Y 
✶Implementing two filling and packaging lines for small plastic cans and metallic drums.

During my service, I had helped billion dollar companies such as "Total" to get a better understanding of Iranian lube oil refiners capabilities and that resulted in establishing a 50-50 joint venture company with Total France and Behran Oil Co. for the first time in the country.
