- Legal Entity Risk Manager: I manage risk for three legal entities: SIX Digital Exchange Ltd (CSD), SDX Trading Ltd, and SDX Web3 (Crypto Custody & non-custodial staking).

- End-to-End Risk Management: I am responsible for the end-to-end risk management framework, working closely with all business lines and SIX Group internal control functions.

-Standards and Best Practices: I ensure that group standards for the respective risk types are met, along with external best practices.

- Risk Framework Compliance: It’s crucial that the risk framework designed by SIX Group and implemented within SDX is adhered to and complied with by the 1st LoD business units. 

- Control Framework Verification: This is achieved by verifying the control framework and reporting on control design effectiveness, as well as ensuring operational effectiveness on the respective risk types and taking appropriate actions.

- Collaboration and Influence: I collaborate with and influence SDX business decision makers to create, sustain, and strengthen the entities’ risk & controls framework.

- Consultation: I act as a consultant for the management team regarding proposed regulations, processes, and procedures to ensure internal controls are appropriately implemented without compromising quality and service.

- Single Point of Contact: Act as the go-to person for risk management topics of respective Business Units (BUs).

With over a decade of experience in risk management and a strong educational background from the University of Zurich, I specialize in creating, maintaining and improving robust risk frameworks for the digital finance space. My expertise lies in legal entity risk management for multiple entities within SIX Digital Exchange, including SDX Trading Ltd and SDX Web3. I am dedicated to ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with group standards and external best practices. My role extends to influencing business decision-makers and consulting on regulatory processes to maintain service quality.

I am very proud to be part of pioneering projects like Project Helvetia III, where SDX collaborates with the Swiss National Bank and leading banks in Switzerland and abroad to integrate DLT into the financial system. My focus is on driving innovation and digitalization in risk management.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a passionate volleyball referee and certified for the highest Swiss Volleyball Leagues, where I apply my keen sense of judgment and fairness and can leverage these learned qualities to maintain calm in stressful situations and make correct and balanced decisions when under pressure.
