And what stood out wasn’t just their attendance; it was their curiosity.

As we explored practical frameworks, investor mindset, and the role storytelling plays in entrepreneurship, the questions in the room reflected ambition beyond theory.

There was a genuine desire to understand how ideas turn into impact.

That’s what made the session meaningful.

Glad to meet India's billionaire businessman Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani Ji. During the conversation he shared one important point - “Vision is more important than money for business”. He shared the example of a Dubai leader and mentioned that despite being having lack of money in comparison to neighboring cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai has gone far ahead of them because of the vision. 

During this we also discussed about MotionGility and about it’s innovation in AI.

A VC analyst sees around 3,000 pitch decks a year.

They invest in 9. (How to beat 2,991 others.)

Ok, first, let that number sink in.

That’s a 0.3% acceptance rate.

And here’s what makes it worse:

Investors spend an average of 3 minutes and 44 seconds on your deck.

Not 30 minutes. Not even 10.

Under four minutes to decide whether you’re worth a second meeting.

Which means most decks don’t fail because the idea is weak.

They fail because clarity doesn’t show up fast enough.

In those 3 minutes, investors are scanning for only a few things:

→ What problem are you solving?
→ Why is your solution better?
→ Is the market big enough?
→ How do you make money?
→ Is there proof this works?
→ Why is this the right team?
→ And why now?

That’s it.

Not 40 slides. Not fancy animations. Not buzzwords.

Just clarity. In order.

Fundraising isn’t about impressing investors.

It’s about reducing their uncertainty.

When 1 in 400 pitches gets funded, your job isn’t to say more.

It’s to make the right things obvious.

I don’t understand founders burning 4-5 figures a month on traffic...

…while their website confuses people in 5 seconds.

And I’m saying this as someone who has audited enough SaaS sites to see the same pattern again and again.

A founder will tell me:

“Traffic is decent. But conversions are low.”

They assume it’s targeting. Or pricing. Or that leads aren’t qualified.

Then we open the homepage.

The headline sounds impressive  (but vague)
The dashboard screenshots look powerful (but overwhelming)
Three CTAs are fighting for attention.
And no clear answer to "Is this for me?”

Here’s what most founders miss:

Users don’t leave because they hate your product.

They leave because they don’t understand it fast enough.

And when someone intelligent feels confused, even for 5 seconds, they don’t complain.

They exit.

UI/UX isn’t about making things look modern.

It’s about removing micro-doubt before it forms.

If someone can’t understand your product instantly, it’s not a traffic problem.

It’s a clarity problem. And clarity is delivered through UX.

After 10+ years in SaaS, one thing is clear to me:

No content asset reduces churn without perfect UI/UX alignment.

Most founders assume churn is a product problem.

But many times…

It’s actually a design problem.

I’ve seen SaaS teams invest heavily in acquisition.

More ads. More content. More traffic.

But retention barely moves.

Then we look at the product experience.

And small things start appearing. (see the visual below)

Individually, these seem minor. But together?

They quietly create friction.

And friction has a strange behavior in SaaS.

Users rarely complain about it.

They don’t open a support ticket saying
“Your onboarding flow slowed me down.”

They simply stop returning.

That’s why churn often feels mysterious.

If users don’t complain about bad UX…

How do you even know where churn is starting?
