Raquel de Lavandeyra, is a 2x female tech founder who creates software applications that enhance people's daily lives.  After graduating from the Communications School at Boston University she held positions at top Madison Avenue advertising agencies and was a marketing consultant at Fortune 1000 companies. During her time as an advertising executive, de Lavandeyra exhibited intrapreneurial drive that led her to work on the product research and launches of L'Oreal Feria, Teen Newsweek and Wynn Resorts. Other products on her roster include Cosmar, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Weekly Reader, Chase and Citi Aadvantage Credit Card.

Through mobile and cloud based platforms, she addresses schedule management challenges that are often overlooked in the consumer sector. As a working parent, she has spent countless hours with moms who have shared their scheduling difficulties in the afterschool space. Her latest endeavor AltCal is a startup which aims to address this looming issue using adaptive technology to deliver on demand scheduling and automation.

For over 20 years as an entrepreneur, she has traveled worldwide to parlay her passion for the culinary arts, culture and visual arts; into subscription based tech products. AltCal is her current endeavor currently in beta. The modern lifestyle agenda strives to help busy people manage their personal, family and social lives as a consumer saas application.
