Ever since I was a kid. Little did I know it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. 
So that’s when it all changed and my journey really began.

Hi, my name is Ely, and it all started in 2017..

I decided to leave a career of almost 10 years working for corporate.

I travelled all across the globe working for big time worldwide companies.

Perhaps you might know Jonhson & Johnson or MARS? 

Well, if you don’t know them, I’m 100% sure you consumed at least one of their products in your lifetime.

Either way, I was there as an IT Project Manager because I always loved tech.

But the problem was: I also loved entrepreneurship. And I’ve always had a natural talent for sales too - I loved selling stuff to my friends when I was a kid.

But my career in IT didn’t enable me to develop these skills much.

So that’s when I met Marketing. And it just clicked. So then, I planned to leave my job in 2017.

And that’s what I did. 

When I embarked this journey, I decided I wanted to combine two of my passions: marketing and tech, and it just made total sense.

Considering my background of 10+ years working with IT, I think it made me a good fit for that!

And so, I've been impacting consumers and companies worldwide ever since.

✅ MY EXPERTISE: From 2018 to 2021, I’ve helped several global B2B SaaS & startup leaders/founders to dramatically grow their revenue & MRR. After that, I've decided to focus heavily on web3, and enable companies to make the best out of marketing by using web3 technology.

Alvin Wang Graylin (汪丛青) is a global technology strategist, author of Our Next Reality (Hachette), and Chairman of the Virtual World Society. With more than 35 years researching and building solutions in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, immersive computing, and cybersecurity, he has served in senior leadership roles at HTC, Intel, IBM, and Trend Micro, founded four venture-backed startups in conversational AI, AR, and social media, and invested in over 100 early-stage companies shaping the future of emerging technologies.

If #AI and #robots automate away our “jobs”, what will still bring us meaning? 🚨

What if I told you #Homer already gave us answers in The Odyssey, 2700 years ago, and it’s not what you think it is.💡

Most people think the #Sirens warn us that “knowledge is dangerous,” and Calypso the #nymph warns that “comfort makes us weak.” The common takeaway is that suffering is necessary, and having too much is bad.

But Homer’s warning is sharper, and far more relevant to AI than you think.
The Sirens do not kill sailors with lies. They kill them with closure. Perfect answers that make you stop thinking.
And Calypso does not imprison Odysseus with pain. She offers abundance, safety, even immortality. A life so solved that nothing depends on you, so you slowly lose purpose.

That is the real failure mode of AI and post-scarcity.

Not that machines will want to kill us.
It is that we will trade authorship for convenience, and in turn lose our humanity and our agency.

The new #Kimi K2.5 AI model just dropped from Moonshot AI and it’s impressive. Open-source AI isn’t just closing the gap…it’s taking the lead in some areas and making agent swarms available to anyone. While western labs are racing to spend trillions on giant data center buildouts, the Chinese labs are just shipping frontier level models and giving them away. 🤷‍♂️ 

AI is becoming commodity and the world needs to rethink its approach to building and diffusing this technology. 💡#AI must be treated as a #PublicGood and it’s benefits shared with the world.  Treating it as a competitive edge or strategic weapon will end in ruin for those doing it and it may drag everyone else along with it. 🚨
