Marketing Communications Consultant and Advisor with experience in PR | Organic Social Media | Influencer Campaigns | Copywriting | Paid Social Media

I am a seasoned marketing communications professional with over 15 years of experience. My background includes experience on the agency side, as a consultant, and in-house, in hospitality, travel and tourism, retail, publishing, and food and beverage. 
I spent two years on property managing marketing communications at the Royal Sonesta Boston before leaving to become a consultant on projects including Sonoma Wine Country Weekend and Nova Star Cruises, later adding management of Sonesta Hotels’ corporate social media to my roster for six years. I spent over five years managing public relations for Hampshire County Regional Tourism Council (Western Massachusetts), securing dozens of influencer and media visits throughout this time. 

Most recently I led social media efforts for Sazerac Company’s employer brand (parent to 450+ spirits brands, including Buffalo Trace, Myers’s Rum, and Fireball), fully immersing myself in the social media strategy, content creation, and community management for the award-winning global company. 

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, I reside in Boston with my husband, six-year-old son and two cats. I am a 7-time marathoner, and avid traveler with the next trip always in the works and with Ireland being our home-away-from-home.

Gail is the Social Media Manger for MADD Canada, an Instructor and Course Developer at McMaster University, and Product Editor for Parents Canada. She has worked with Global and National brands like Hootsuite, Molson, Coca-Cola, The Weather Network, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Ontario Lottery and Gaming  Corporation, Tennis Canada, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and more. 
Her industry experience extends from broadcasting, sports, entertainment, fashion, retail, CPG, hospitality and luxury goods in both the private and public sectors. She hold a B.A.A from Ryerson University, and B.Ed from Niagara University and AQ Qualification from Queen's University in Communications Technology.
