My career path has been anything but linear - finance analyst to consultant to data scientist to full-time content creator. At each stop, I felt like I was starting over, but those diverse experiences became my superpower. My finance background taught me business fundamentals, consulting showed me how to solve complex problems, and data science gave me technical skills. When I combined all three and took the leap into content creation, companies started paying attention.

Now I help others navigate their own career transitions by sharing what I've learned across industries and roles.

I served as the Chief Financial Officer for Care Package Inbound. I had a multitude of duties in the financial and legal areas to launch the nonprofit organization and keep it at its best including:
• Keeping compliant with the 50 states and D.C. by registering for charitable solicitations, documenting annual reports, and registering as a nonprofit entity in Kansas and Missouri
• Filed an extensive 1023 form to the IRS describing why Care Package Inbound follows the tax exemption law
• Using nonprofit fund accounting principles to track expenses, create budgets, balance the books, and prepare the 990 tax form for the IRS (currently the 990-N version)
• Managing procurement for our organization such as gathering items for our care packages and soliciting items for special events such as silent auctions
• Overseeing the logistics of the nonprofit for carrying out our care package program including tracking inventory of items received and packages delivered
• Supervising donor management by tracking donors in a database, sending out donation receipts, and thanking donors for their commitment
• Recruiting volunteers to serve in our organization by properly vetting them and making sure due diligence is performed from paperwork to training
• Assisting with planning special events such as soliciting donated items and services, putting together event programs, and supervising the event to run smoothly
• Serving the nonprofit in any other way needed from helping with the fundraising process, posting on social media, responding to customer service questions, and finding ways to improve our organization

I earned a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Kansas in December 2018. During my time at KU, I was the President of the KU Math Club, Undergraduate Vice President for the KU Association for Women in Mathematics Chapter, and an active member of the KU SIAM Chapter. I also served as a research assistant for Dr. Yo Jackson, focusing on children's adaptation to stress and trauma.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am dedicated to community service. I am an active board member for the Olathe Public Schools Foundation, sponsor multiple charity events annually, and built a foundation for the nonprofit Care Package Inbound.
