My main areas of responsibility included master planning (demand planning, capacity planning, MPS, forecasting, MRP) and related inventory stock (raw materials, packaging and finished goods). I was in charge of the strategic and tactical activities of the Purchasing Dept. as well as S&OP Planning. I managed a team of three people, as well as coordinate and led cross-departmental teams with a focus on end-to-end and long-term perspectives.
My role was versatile and I was naturally dedicated to problem solving, so I got involved where necessary and when I saw an opportunity to contribute to the team.

- Increased the stability of production plans and the reliability of their execution, by reducing the time to create the weekly production plan by 38% (10 hours) in 7 months, through process improvement and enhanced team collaboration.
- Maintained an OTIF rate above 98% during a 5-month period of 17% demand growth over forecasts through improved team morale, engagement and mutual understanding between departments.

Supply Chain Manager

I owned production planning (demand planning, capacity planning, MPS, production activity control, forecasting) and related inventory of finished goods. I lead S&OP Planning and continuous monitoring of the Sales Dept. activities. Additionaly, I managed the work of the production planner and coordinated departments for the good of the whole company, beyond silo mentality.

- Reduced costs and risks with increased level of sales forecast accuracy by 28% year over year as a result of strengthening cooperation with the Sales Dept. and improving the S&OP process.
- Optimized finished goods stock, lowering it by 15% year-over-year, two years in a row while maintaining the same service level, by improving planning methods and revision of planning assumptions.

Production Planning Department Coordinator

I was fully accountable for the master production schedule, daily production plans, capacity planning  and related finished goods inventory of a plant producing gingerbread and pastry products (about 500 SKUs) on 6 lines. Moreover, I prepared many analyses, presentations and recommendations.

- Grown the planning team by introducing two new planners within 12 months of starting my job.
- Optimized the planning process by creating 7 new Excel files in 9 months leading to faster and more accurate short and long term planning, capacity planning, inventory management, sales controlling and data management.

I was responsible for creating and controlling master production schedule, capacity plan and daily production plans for 27 separate machines and circa 800 SKUs, as well as related finished goods inventory. I also took on the responsibilities of the procurement specialist during his absence.
This was the origin of my cross-functional coordination role.

- Increased accuracy and reduced by 86% (7 hours) the time to plan budgets and analyse targeted stock building by creating processes and tools to calculate annual and monthly production schedules and machine capacity.
- Reduced finished goods stock by 16% while increasing availability for orders by 7% through improved planning with stock buffers by establishing better collaboration with the Sales Dept.
