We quietly let the word out and already have 8 clients, with 4 asking about it, and our public announcement is not until 2/26/2026 to a room full of 40 more vetted, ideal clients. 

A stirring is happening.

Saturday morning.  

Bear asked me to help him with something.  

I was in the middle of writing an email.  

I said "give me five minutes" without looking up.  

He said "okay, Dad" and walked away.  

Ten minutes later, I finished. 
Went to find him. 
He'd figured it out on his own.  

And I realized:  

I just traded five minutes of presence for... what?  

A slightly better email? 
An extra task checked off?  

Here's what I'm learning as a dad and as a leader:  

The things that feel urgent rarely are. 
The things that matter most rarely feel urgent. 

My kids won't remember the extra email I sent. 
They'll remember whether I was there when they asked.  

Same thing applies in business:  

Your team won't remember the 47th strategy deck. 
They'll remember whether you were present when they needed clarity.  

Presence is a discipline. Not a feeling.
