Assignments involve gas operations, engineering operations, process improvements, FEED, field operations, plant layouts, interpretation of gas measurement and inspection data, compliance, developing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), isometrics, process flow diagrams (PFD). All the projects (63 simultaneous) needed managing the coordination of various engineering firms and led /coordinated all disciplines as the single point of contact.
Prepared, negotiated, and helped approve contracts for external consultants as the single point of contact for technical matters and responsible for the engineering deliverables mostly via Bluebeam reviews of design packages at the 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC stages via regular status meetings with associated engineering firms and SoCal Gas staff. Expert in reviewing engineering reports and managing RFIs and Field Change Orders (FCO). Managed and coordinated activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, schedules, cost estimates, and design. Califco is a consulting firm helping clients in utilities, alternative energy, hydrogen economy, fuel cells, power, microgrid, petroleum, carbon capture/sequestration, petrochemical, civil, construction, chemical and oil & gas industries. I have been executing multiple projects through Califco and thereby developed in-depth domain knowledge and confidence in implementing ASTM, ASME, NACE, NFPA, API, SCAQMD, EPA and OSHA codes.
