Permanent Mission of Slovenia in Geneva

Currently employed at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Slovenia to UN and other International organizations in Geneva working as Administrative Attaché with responsibility in finance. 

Main responsibilities include: 
-	Internal accounting and distribution of common charges for both the Permanent Mission in 
        Geneva and the Embassy in Bern, 
-	Reviewing and booking the invoices,
-	Preparing and processing the invoices for payment (income recording, vouchers, supporting 
        documents, telephone invoices, etc) and resolving invoice discrepancies,
-	Corresponding with vendors and respond to inquiries,
-	Maintaining internal expenditures control system by ensuring that vouchers processed are 
        matched and completed, transactions are correctly recorded and posted in our system,
-	Travel claims, monthly payments and other reimbursements are duly processed in accordance with 
        our financial rules and regulations, 
-	Planning and preparing annual and monthly budgets, monitoring spending and preparing the 
        financial reports which has to be send to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
-	Managing payroll for diplomats and local staff,
-	Administering the office petty cash,
-	Preparing documents / forms for VAT returns and
-	Recently set up a financial system which enables the diplomats to perceive partial reimbursements 
        of their medical costs incurred abroad by the Slovenian medical authority,

Administrative Attachée

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia

Employed at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ljubljana, performed the following duties:
-	Controlled the spending of budget and other financial works of twelve Diplomatic Embassies and Representations of the Republic of Slovenia, 
-	Controlled the corrections of invoices and payments were up to date,
-	Prepared the invoices which had to be refunded by other organizations,
-	Prepared the topics for discussion during the monthly financial commissions.

Employed at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to NATO in Brussels worked as Administrative Attaché, Acting Head of Registry (between September 2004 and September 2006 (I had responsibility to coordinate my team and work in registry), Personal Assistant to the Ambassador (from January 2011 until August 2011). 
Preformed the following duties: monitored and planned of annual/monthly budgets, prepared monthly financial reports sent on a monthly basis to the Ministry; internal accountancy and distribution of common charges of the Delegation; managed payroll for diplomats: maintenance of petty cash; carried out all monthly expenses of the Delegation; negotiated contracts; inventory; human resources administrative tasks and travel arrangements.

Employed at the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ljubljana, performed the duties of a secretary (assisted the head of department manage the daily agenda, organized official visits and travel arrangements).

Self-employed at a book shop, provided photocopying and customer services and assistance to customers looking for a book, selling toys, office and school supplies. Maintained inventory to stock store and performed various accounting tasks (debit and credit notes, prepared monthly financial reports, internal accountancy, personal expenses and remuneration).

-	Reviewed and booked the invoices,
-	Prepared and processed the invoices for payment,

-	Prepared debit and credit notes, 
-	Prepared monthly financial reports, 
-	Handled the office petty cash,
-	Took care of personal expenses and remuneration.

Graduated from Secondary School for Secretaries and Administrative Workers and Economics Assistant in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 

Being a wife and a mum of two amazing teenage daughters, gained experiences in finance, accounting within both the private sector as well as governmental and international organizations, personal assistant, working with clients, my own business (business success and failure) made me very strong. My personal mottos are: ″you reap what you sow″ and ″any work is honorable″.

I work well independently as well as a member of a team and I respond to queries in a timely and efficient manner. I am able to prioritize my daily tasks and ongoing projects. I am honest, precise, committed and adapt quickly. Highly competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point and finance related software (SAP, Lotus Notes).
