Last week we had an onsite with our GTM team in San Francisco.

It was so fun and most people saw each other for the first time in IRL.

In the last 12 months we've grown so much.

And super grateful for all our teammates (product, sales, cs) for riding this journey.

I just saw another company that built an AI Dialer shut down.

It's never easy to watch a company close its doors, and I'm genuinely sorry to see them go.

In the last 3.5 years, many have tried to build the "best" dialer. Millions in funding. Large teams. And yet, one by one, they've shut down.

Meanwhile, a bootstrapped 14-person company is not only surviving — we're leading the category with innovation.

My previous company was a GPT-3 wrapper. So when I started Salesfinity, it was AI-native from day one. We brought never-before-seen innovations to this space, and we haven't stopped.

But we're not succeeding because we're "special."

- There are teams that work harder than us. 
- There are teams smarter than us. 
- There are teams better funded than us.

The difference isn't talent or resources. It's why we do what we do.

I'm not building a company to: 
→ Buy a Rolex 
→ Drive a Ferrari 
→ Own a beach house 
→ Be "free" and travel the world

Materialistic things mean nothing to me.

I'm building a company so we can: 
→ Be guardians of orphans in small villages 
→ Support families going through hardship 
→ Give a kid who has nothing the chance to go to school 

All while building products our customers love.

Most people stop when their "why" runs out. And materialistic goals are short-lived fuel.

Our mission doesn't have an expiration date.

We're playing an infinite game — and you can't beat that.

This is his first week as an SDR and he outworked everyone in the team. (by a mile, not even close)

while most people do learning their first week, Tom decided to book 5 meetings instead with 1 of them already in pilot. 

His cold calls are unreal + the French access.

Every VP Sales I speak with wants their AEs to self-source pipe.

The bad news is: 

If your AEs didn't start self-sourcing from day 1, they usually never will.

Top 1% may adapt, but if you push average AEs, they normally quit.

I've seen this from experience.

The best way is to instill the right habits from day 1.

To fix this issue, Matt Banks came up with this concept to make all new AE hires work as an SDR for the first month.

Sure, we have SDRs, inbound, marketing driving demand gen, but nothing beats the self-sufficient AE.

And it's been a game-changer.

Inbound demand gen is also hitting all-time high numbers.

But you gotta pick the right things to work on.

As Steve Jobs said: Focus means saying NO to 100 other good ideas.

It’s wild, but a lot of B2B sales teams are "unprofitable".

Not because they’re under-tooled.

Because they’re over-tooled.

Look at the stack most teams are running:

* CRM
* Data providers
* RevOps tools
* Enablement tools
* Sales engagement tools
* Intent data
* Website visitor tracking
* Automation for everything
* Dialer
* AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
* Call recorder
* Scheduling tools

The list never ends.

You’d think “more tools” = more revenue.

Wrong.

Most reps spend more time "learning software" than learning how to talk to customers.

More time tweaking list-builder filters than learning what a real ICP actually looks like.

More time “updating fields” than creating "pipeline".

More tools → more tabs.
More tabs → more context switching.
More context switching → less selling.
Less selling → less revenue.

This has to end.

The future of GTM isn’t another tool.

It’s less tooling, tighter fundamentals, and higher-quality conversations.
