Bookkeeping With A Smile

The following are some of the duties my team and I handle on a daily basis for our clients:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial statements.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable: This includes processing invoices, collecting payments, and setting up payments for vendors.

- Post and reconcile payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Ensure payroll accounts match up to year end forms. Issue Maintain W-9 files through out the year and issue 1099s end of year.

-Prepare month and year end closing adjusting entries.

- Analyze financial data and provide financial insights: Preparing various financial reports, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.

- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations: By staying up-to-date on tax changes and regulations

- Collaborate with accountants, auditors, and other financial professionals: This includes providing information to accountants and auditors, and working with other financial professionals to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

- Implement and maintain accounting systems: By suggesting and implementing accounting software, and developing and maintaining accounting procedures.

- Resolve financial discrepancies: This includes investigating and correcting errors in financial records.

- Prepare for audits: Gathering and organizing documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

- Communicate effectively with clients: Providing regular financial updates, and explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable including, setting up new vendors in Quickbooks, coding and posting of vendor bills and expenses to proper jobs/projects, running weekly accounts payable reports, and paying vendors on a timely basis.

•	Managed the accounts payable, including but not limited to posting and paying open bills from vendors. Reviewed accounts receivable aging report on a weekly basis, followed up on balances and help resolve customer discrepencies as necessary. 
•	Reconciled credit card statements for salespersons expenditures.
