First, more on my background:

I’ve been a leadership coach since 2020, mainly working with leaders to help them understand themselves, build courage, overcome obstacles, and push themselves to reach their highest potential, without burning out.

I’ve also been a Chartered Accountant for over 15 years, leading finance teams in wide range of industries and organisations in Australia and the UK.

I also started writing online in 2020, and you know what? 

I learned I LOVE writing! 

Who would have thought, an accountant loves writing! I’ve mainly written about mindset, meaning and purpose, self-mastery and wellbeing in work.

And my latest frontier?

Becoming a dad! I’m the proud father of two beautiful boys.

I’ve been blogging online and writing a weekly newsletter since 2020.

But I was a bit all over the place, too many platforms and publishing commitments, trying to do too many things, and burning myself out.

It was time to:

DO LESS, BUT DIVE DEEPER.

I want to to build something awesome, but slowly. I'm in no rush. And that feels good.

Greg delivers 1:1 individual coaching to graduates participating in the Australian Public Service (APS) Graduate Development Program (GDP). This complements formal learning of the GDP which support Graduates as they navigate challenges and consolidate the learning of their Graduate year. Graduates have access to three (3) one-hour coaching sessions over the 12-month program. 

His key focus aligns with the purpose of the GDP: developing foundational skills, behaviours, mindsets and networks that support new Graduate employees to make a significant contribution as leaders in the APS.

Over a public service career spanning over 18 years, Greg led, coached and mentored teams of between one (1) and eight (8) people to deliver communications, education and arts outcomes for Australian society. He also provided leadership for industry and community. Greg contributed as an active mentor in the organisation-wide Mentoring Program providing support, coaching and mentoring to officers above, at and below my level. He led, managed and delivered work programs relating to arts education and training, museums and cultural heritage, philanthropy, telecommunications and broadband via:
•	Training and facilitating
•	Program and grants management
•	Strategic and business planning
•	Stakeholder engagement
•	Policy development, advice and research
•	Governance restructuring and oversight
•	Briefings and correspondence, and
•	Regulatory and legislative co-design.
Key Achievements:
•	Managed and developed seven (7) New Policy Proposals, contributing to securing $22.4 million ($20.8 million in the 2013-14 Budget and $1.6 million in the 2012-13 Budget) operational funding towards improving the sustainability of seven private skills training organisations.
•	Managed and secured $37.1 million Telecommunications Emergency Resilience Package New Policy Proposal 
•	Managed three (3) New Policy Proposals, securing $36.4 million over three years capital funding for national collecting institutions
•	Managed regulatory reform, review and co-design of the Australian National Maritime Museum Regulations  and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Establishing Old Parliament House) Rule 2016

As Owner and Senior Graphic Designer, Greg established and operated a small graphic design business. In addition to Greg's full time Australian Public Service job, he created graphic design logos and brands for start-ups and small businesses. As part of this, Greg undertook creative brainstorming, business planning, name development, brand strategy, logos, business cards, appointment cards, packaging, and flyers.
