2 weeks ago, we went to San Francisco to meet up with some of our key BetterContact customers

We got to meet some amazing founders, operators, and customers who are building really impressive things in the GTM and data space.

Some were long-time BetterContact users we’d only spoken to online before. Others we met for the first time.

Lots of great conversations around where GTM is heading, and how we can best serve our customers to help them win in their outbound.

Building BetterContact | Helping B2B companies win outbound through more and better contact data

Last Thursday, we brought together over 20 GTM operators to the Clay x BetterContact GTM Roundtables in Munich

It was the second event we co-hosted together with Clay, and this time designed to be more interactive (with smaller roundtable discussions instead of a classic panel format).

The reason we did it this way: GTM is changing incredibly fast. 

With the flood of new tools and opinions, many don’t know what to focus on or trust.

So instead of one person presenting, we created space for direct exchange between operators

Some of the questions we discussed:
- AI in GTM - where do we still need humans?
- Clay, Claude Code, n8n, Open Claw - are there any synergies?
- How do you stay relevant in a space that evolves every week?

I realized (once again) that I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible.

That’s exactly why conversations with the GTM community are so valuable - it’s the fastest way to learn.

We’re kicking this off! Round 1, Call 2 of the BetterContact x Trellus (YC W22) Cold Calling Competition is live with Michael.

For everyone who didn’t see the announcement yesterday:

We brought together 9 top-tier cold callers and put them into a 3 round knockout-style competition. 

Each participant got the same case study (FlowOps) and had to cold call Benjamin as the prospect - he plays the buyer and judges every call.

Everyone gets one shot:

This is the very first call of the entire series, so you’ll set the baseline here for what “good” actually looks like (the 2nd call can be found on Suji Goetzke's account)

This Thursday we’re hosting the Clay x BetterContact GTM Roundtables in Munich with a group of GTM leaders, founders, and operators - and there’s a lot to talk about.
