Manufacturing is my home. I love the daily collision of workmanship, engineering, and old-fashioned work ethic that is necessary to succeed in this industry.

My entire career has been spent in highly regulated sectors (healthcare, aerospace, food/bev manufacturing). I enjoy the chaos that these industries offer and to have the opportunity to bring clarity to that chaos.

I’m the father of 4 young children. Type 1 Diabetic since 1991. Lifelong health and wellness fanatic. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor.

Somewhere along the way, we stopped trusting what’s already inside us.

We all fight that little inner critic, the one that tells us to play it safe.

But when we look back at the moments when we truly succeeded and overcame huge odds, playing it safe was never part of the story.

We had to step up. It was scary. But we did it. And we grew.

One of the most important needs in leadership and life is certainty.

Not the absence of uncertainty, but the ability to stay certain of who we are, what we’re capable of, and why we’re here.

Every challenge we face is a chance to reconnect with that version of ourselves, the one who acts with courage, confidence, and conviction.

When we do, the noise starts to quiet. Peace becomes possible.

We stop punishing ourselves. We start celebrating ourselves.

And from that place, we can finally love and celebrate others fully and truly.

The power isn’t out there. It’s been in you the whole time.

I spent the last three weeks, on the stage doing what I love with who I love! 

What dream or move might you be limiting in the name of “playing it safe”?

Project Managers and everyone else on Earth! 

Tomorrow we are going to rock two of the most important aspects of managing projects. 

Manage these well and everything else will fall into place..


Yeah right! HAHAHAHA!

The PMP journey is hard. 

It takes a lot, of drive and determination to carve out the time to be diligent and hit your goals! 

Its never about giant leaps. It is about steady progress. One percent better, one concept clearer, one practice exam stronger. 

There will be setbacks. Nothing ever goes according to plan! and that's ok! 

That is how this game is won.

I know this process can feel hard.
Some days you feel sharp, some days you feel like nothing is sticking.

That is all part of it.

Progress is still happening, even when it feels slow. 

Your progress.
Your wins.
Your struggles.
Your lessons.
Your story.

Eight months ago, I shared my commitment to earn my Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. What I didn’t fully account for was everything life had in store along the way. 🙏🏾

Onboarding into my role at SageSure, showing up for my kids through sports and school, and navigating an unexpected gym injury all took a real toll on my confidence, my learning plan, and the commitment I was asking of my family.

There were moments I questioned whether I could do this.

But my support system never stopped believing in me, especially my husband, Mychael Williams, who has been an absolute trooper. He quietly stepped up, took on more responsibility at home, and gave me the space to keep going. That kind of love and partnership means everything.

I’m so grateful to my friends who sent encouragement, squashed my doubts, and gave grace in my absence so I could dedicate the time to studying. Tiffany Williams, Racquel Floyd, and Danielle Chambliss, EMBA I am so grateful for you all!!
