Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore

Part of a dynamic team of transport planners who plan the future transportation infrastructure for Singapore. We are responsible for shaping the future transportation network of Singapore that includes identifying, developing and evaluating new road and rail infrastructure projects.

As part of the work, we design and supervise data collection activities, analyse and interpret survey results, develop transport network improvements proposals, forecast travel demand, assess community benefits and determine economic performance. We also work closely with other Government agencies to develop integrated transport-landuse plans and provide transportation planning advice on future land use development initiatives. Part of the role includes extensive community and grassroots engagements with stakeholders, feedback gathering and collaboration / co-creation.

Launched Gosh! Kids, a creative arts education programme (photography, art, design) and community that transforms children from passive consumers into active creators. In all we do, we want to bring our children's creativity to the next level.

I write content for Gosh! Kids and my own newsletter (Five For Your Hive), with the aim of inspiring readers to rethink their perspectives towards creativity & life.

Begun my creative journey in 2013 as a photographer (conceptual and art photography, focused on branding) and have collaborated with brands such as Apple. Many of my past work and portfolio of photographs can be found on my instagram @mathieubeth.

- Undertook vigorous research for emissions data to formulate a carbon emissions calculator for consulting use.
- Researched and formulated an ecosystem structure mapping 40 firms in the digital electronics sector to be used for training programmes and masterclasses.
- Constructed slide decks across various digital trends including software eco-design, blockchain, and green finance.

- Facilitated and co-led ~10 eco-education workshops, trails, and beach clean-ups for corporates.

Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)

- Designated as NSF IC, tasked with maintaining NSF welfare, discipline, as well as other administrative matters. Helped to mediate conflict between NSFs and superiors.
- Tasked with maintaining leave, medical certificate, medical, and IPPT data for 800-plus personnel within my unit, as well as producing updates for monthly conferences.
- Planned the flow for special events such as Key Appointment Holder visits, Change of Command Parades, as well as Workplan Seminars, which continued to be used for future visits.
- Used Microsoft Excel heavily to churn out data for all personnel within the unit.

Administrative Support Assistant

I am a really keen and inquisitive learner, always looking to chat with like-minded individuals about news and developments in the sustainable technologies space! I also absolutely love meeting new people from all walks of life to hear about and learn from their life experiences. Some of my most important skills lie in my organisational ability, as well as my ability to take charge of a situation and solve problems.
