My responsibilities included javascript engineering in a very large scale Backbone application, developing new features, squashing bugs, writing automated tests, improving the application on mobile devices, re-factoring older features, and improving dev build processes.

From my personal experience, some of the most valuable connections in my career didn’t start in an inbox.
Yes, most conversations begin through emails, Telegram messages, or quick calls. They’re efficient and necessary. But they don’t always show you the person behind the screen.
What I’ve learned over time is that real alignment happens face to face.
Meeting someone in person changes everything. You see their energy. You understand their vision better. You build trust in a way that no message thread can replicate.
In Barcelona, I had the opportunity to meet Katja Hartog from Clicks Talent in person. What started as a simple business conversation became something more meaningful. There was genuine alignment, transparency, and the beginning of what I believe will be both a strong professional relationship and a real friendship.
From my perspective, those moments don’t show up in dashboards or numbers, but they’re the foundation of everything lasting.
