I used to be a high-performer stuck in a low-performance body.

That was me at 35.

One morning, I caught myself in the mirror. 
Slouched, hollow-eyed, barely breathing deep without discomfort.

That slow burnout nearly took it all.

So I made a choice: not just to heal my body, but to upgrade it.

For 8+ years, I immersed myself in:

Lose 10kg without gaining them back

Is that possible? 

It is.
But not in a month.
Read the piece below for the math.

“Here’s how you lose 10 kg in 1 month”


You don’t.
Not in a healthy, repeatable way.

To lose 10 kg of fat you need roughly 77,000 kcal of deficit.
That’s about 2,500 kcal less. Every day. For a month.

For a knowledge worker who burns 2,000–2,600 kcal per day, that would mean:

➔ Living on almost no food
➔ Or training like an athlete on top of a full-time job
➔ Plus wrecked sleep, focus, mood, and hormones

Yes, the scale might drop fast.
But it probably will be mostly water and muscle.

Then comes the rebound. 
Often with interest.

Clinical guidelines are boring but honest:

0.5–1 kg per week, with a 500–750 kcal daily deficit, is the safe range.

This is what I coach instead:

1. Mediterranean-style, real food
2. Stable blood sugar
3. Habits that survive real life

2016, I left a high-stress corporate role.

High pay, low peace.

I quit for my health, well-being, and freedom.

Traveled the world. 
Met Ketty. 
Built a new kind of life.

But soon I fell into the same old patterns,
just in new locations:

Working late. 
Chasing deadlines. 
Ignoring my body.

For as long as I can remember, I lived to please others and rarely gave any resistance to the demands of those around me. This led to chronic procrastination, perfectionism, horrible boundaries, and various addictions to numb the pain.

Burnout was a way of life for me. As a manager, I found myself not wanting to delegate tasks for fear that the output wouldn't fit my perfect vision.

I often operated out of a fear of rejection, and it colored all of my interactions with others.

As an employee, I second guessed all interactions and never said no to any projects.

This constant pressure from all sides had become a mental prison, and I sought out unhealthy outlets and addictions to numb the pain that I refused to address. 

I learned alot about my triggers, behavior patterns, but also specific to harness them and use them for maximum productivity. 

You’re over capacity because:

❌️ Fear of rejection is your primary motivation, it will lead to decision fatigue and analysis paralysis
❌️ Your thoughts are always riveting by over-calculating every scenario at work and home in hopes of perfection
❌️ You put yourself last, but are full of resentment and bitterness
❌️ You place unrealistic demands on yourself, team, and potential clients
❌️ You experience turnover in personal and professional relationships, because you go overboard in trying to prevent it

I was willing to go to these places to find out the WHY behind my WHAT, and it dramatically changed my recovery and the system I developed for individual clients and organizations.
