Over the past 11 years, I’ve opened the hood and dove into understanding how to optimize small and midsize law firms. 

First, in 2014, we started by building Centerbase, a platform purpose-built to help small and midsize law firms become their version 2.0 by using automation to improve their revenue processes and better serve their clients.  

We did this because the traditional way law firms operate is changing. 

Instead of relying on software to manage legal services companies, law firms now utilize technology to optimize their business’s performance and serve clients better. 

Hints version 2.0. 

In 2021, I launched the Mostly Legal Podcast with Amanda Koplos, Association of Legal Administrators President, 2024‑2025, to bring awareness to the legal management profession and provide a few laughs along the way. 

Now, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned by working with thousands of firms and speaking with just as many law firm experts.

Grateful to create a commissioned piece for Velo IT Group as they build out their new HQ in Dallas.

Taylor Toce and Ruthie Toce are creating a Built To Serve art gallery within the space. A 90 ft hallway featuring work from artists who are entrepreneurs themselves. People who build, take risks, and understand what it means to serve clients well.

They invited me to create a piece that fits Velo’s intergalactic theme while staying true to my style. 

That balance made this project especially fun.

Velo supports law firms and professional services firms with the kind of infrastructure and reliability that lets them focus on their work. That mindset shows up clearly in how they are building this space.
