Quickly found out I wasn't cut out for a life in a 9-5 after a stint at IBM, Siemens & then GlaxoSmithKline.  Quit my job in London 2010 and after 10 years in Colombia made it into Florida through the business

We've just passed $4m cash collected in the business

But here's the truth

That's over 7 years

So I don't have FU money, and I can't retire...yet

BUT I've gotten something way more valuable 

And that's the freedom of choice:  I can take a year off right now if I need to and not worry about the bills.

And I've got the the time to look after my health, marriage and family which has not be wrecked by the ups and downs of entrepreneuership

But most importantly of all I can sit back with the quiet satisfaction of knowing that no matter what happens with technology and the economy 

That I know how to market and sell to people and i will ALWAYS be able to make money

Why?

Tactics change but humans don't. period.

I got 1m organic views on YouTube WITHOUT using just screenshares and teaching people where to click (how to DO something)

All I do is teach people ''how to THINK''

That's why my content stands out and drives sales

I’d NEVER take a vacation the USA: 

not because it’s boring, it’s fun

And not because of the people, they are great

But because it’s now too stressful to go through the immigration processes

Border patrol was already a nightmare 

The announcement today about 5 years of social media scrutiny makes it even worse 

And I know a lot of people will say something like 

‘If you’ve got nothing to hide……’

But that’s not the point, a vacation should be relaxing  

And there’s way better less stressful destinations now 

As a Florida local with friends working in the theme parks, I know they already took a massive hit 

Tourism will lose even more money now 

And so here’s my question that impacts millions 

Could this post be understood to be negative ?

Should I delete it?

What happens if you delete ALL your social

Just remember if you are losing your job or your business is struggling...

Once we lose EVERYTHING, then we become free to do ANYTHING

Losing the baggage, BS, and opinions of people that don't matter anyway 

In my experience is exactly the thing we need to move forwards

And they blame the platform/algorothm for it

It’s not the algorithmsfault because the algorithm is just a reflection of society

Or put another way if you Replace the word ‘algorithm’ with ‘human’ 

and the sad truth is you get closer to what’s going on 

We have a long way to go as people don’t we?

Why i'm leaving the USA for the UK:

Some people got offended yesterday because I spoke about this

And rightly pointed out to me that the Uk is a shambles too (I’m British)

But here’s the thing, after 16 years on the road 

As a Spanish and English speaker who’s lived in Spain, Colombia, uk and the USA

I’ve seen everything from the most dangerous neighborhoods in bogota 

To mixing with millionaires here in Florida 

And at the end of the day if you woke up to live another day today 

You already won, because millions didn't including my best friend who passed at 45 in March

and so if you have access to food and healthcare and shelter 

Then you are ahead of most of the planet and IMO it doesn’t really matter where you live 

And that’s why I’m going back to the UK

Yess it’s a mess but it’s an EASY mess for me

Ever looming immigration processes in the USA, international tax and distance from family, 

It all gets old and it's not worth a bit more sun or a few percentage points shaved of income tax

Why?

I Love the USA but peace of mind is priceless and that's what matters to me
