Moody’s Ratings released its 2026 global data center outlook this week, projecting at least $3 trillion in worldwide investment through 2030 to meet explosive AI, cloud, and digital service demand, driven heavily by hyperscalers like Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Oracle, Meta, and CoreWeave, whose spending alone is ramping toward $500B+ in 2026.

Thoughts for $100M+ project owners:

• Who wins big: Data center developers, hyperscale tenants, construction firms, equipment suppliers (e.g., GPUs/power infrastructure), and project finance lenders/investors tapping into diversified structures like construction loans, ABS/CMBS, and institutional capital alongside traditional banks.
