• Performed financial due diligence including:
     (1) Deconstruction and analysis of cashflow projections
     (2) Analysis of quality of earnings and profitability models
     (3) Analysis of quality of net assets, net working capital, as well as debt and debt like item
• Complied reports detailing the results of performed analysis, highlighting negotiation points to mitigate risk and understand the business value

Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory

• Audited large Canadian public and private companies in various industries
• Performed financial statement audits in accordance with IFRS and ASPE, and assisted with tax provision audits
• Clients included oil and gas, telecommunications, entertainment, and beverage, as well as private equity
• Led and supervised small groups between two seven people, acting as liaison with client’s management and other external parties during the audit
• Completed a term in the human capital group, preparing personal tax returns for expatriates residing in Canada and the United States

YESS is an Edmonton based Not-for Profit organization serving "At RISK YOUTH". We have an overnight shelter program as well as a couple of live-in programs and the Armory Youth Centre which operates a daytime program. Like all NPOs, we continually struggle to find funding to support our programs and the recession has hit us hard....your help, donations and support is always appreciated.

Most accountants are great at numbers, I like to translate numbers into actionable steps that help you get to where you want to go.  

My focus is on owner managed companies looking to grow locally, nationally and internationally.  Industries including oil and gas related services, professional services, health, manufacturing and hospitality sectors.

I received my CA designation in 2001,was admitted to partnership in 2007, reciaved my Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation in 2017 and became a Mindshop accredited advisor in 2022.

Specialties: Solving difficult accounting issues, creative income tax and succession plans.
