• Collaborate with Divisional Merchandise Manager (DMM) and General Merchandising Manager (GMM) to ensure strategic initiatives are met
• Assist planning team with ongoing and long term financial planning for department
• Responsible for writing, splitting, and managing orders of top revenue producing brands
• Execute the OTB’s and ASAP process within the limits of the financial plans supplied by the planning department, and under the assortment direction of the DMM/GMM
• Manage editing process on preseason orders to support sales, turn, and aged inventory goals within the parameters of the planning department
• Negotiate order terms and sell through opportunities with vendors where appropriate, and coordinate the maintenance of order status, ship dates, and terms on all PO’s
• Oversee site merchandising for designated MD including; product representation on site, list ranking, clean presentation, stock availability, and excellent customer experience
• Work with Merchandise Division Assistant and vendors to resolve pricing discrepancies, receiving issues, and overstock issues
• Analyze business on a weekly basis through interpretation of sales reporting and develop action plan based on reporting results, in conjunction with entire team, and ensure implementation
• Evaluate pricing and promotion opportunities as needed and coordinate this execution plan with DMM/GMM and marketing department
• Responsible for recommending and placing non-key style at-once orders with Assistant Buyers
