“I can’t wait any longer!” -CRO of a #cybersecurity SaaS company.

They originally scoped Fractional RevOps as a Q1 '26 initiative.
Then they reached back out at the end of Q4 with a simple message:

Here was this #CRO’s hit list. It is a good snapshot of what breaks when #RevOps lags reality.

1. Sales Stages: Re-architecting sales stages to capture quantitative signal

Their stages looked fine on paper, but they were not producing usable data.
The goal is not more fields. It is better signal for coaching reps and pressure testing pipeline health before deals slip.

2. Forecasting: Forecasting that leadership can actually trust

Without consistent stage criteria and clean data, forecasting becomes opinion based. For a CRO, that is uncomfortable.

3. QuotaPath: Compensation accuracy via QP implementation

Commission calculations should not live in spreadsheets or get reconciled after the fact. Integrating QuotaPath brings clarity to quotas, payouts, and performance and removes friction between Sales, Finance, and Leadership.

4. Quoting Customization: Refining the quoting process

They are using HubSpot’s native quoting, but out of the box was not enough.
Custom templates, cleaner pricing logic, and a quoting flow that matches how deals are actually sold removes last mile friction that quietly kills momentum.

5. Renewals: Multi-year deal logic and automated renewals

Closed won is not be the end of the system. Renewals need to auto-create deals with accurate field mapping so contract values, terms, and renewal timing are correct without manual cleanup later.

None of this is flashy, but all of it is urgent.
