My good friend Jamie Small and I established the Electricians Co-Op podcast in late 2020 with the goal of helping electricians grow their businesses. Over the years, we've had the pleasure of interviewing dozens of industry professionals, thoroughly enjoying each moment. 

In early 2022, we were thrilled to hit a major milestone as our show reached the number 1 spot in the "electricians" category on both Apple Podcasts and Spotify. This achievement not only validated the work we put into the podcast, but also confirmed our belief that it's possible to have fun while achieving success.

In March 2018, I launched my first podcast, Go All In. After just a couple of weeks of familiarizing myself with the process, I was thrilled to find my show at the number 1 spot on Apple Podcasts - a surprise that exceeded all of my expectations! I couldn't believe it! Since then, I've had the privilege of interviewing a huge array of guests, from world champion athletes to billionaires, all united by one common theme - they GO ALL IN!

Over the past few years, podcasting has taken me on numerous unforgettable journeys and fostered hundreds of new relationships and friendships with the guests and people I've met along the way. I've found podcasting to be an incredibly effective tool for amplifying my business's reach while also enabling me to guide other creators in launching their own shows.

It's amazing how if you focus on something you really enjoy it can turn into something unexpected! I started out recording podcasts for fun as a creative outlet and shortly after it turned into a booking agency and a mentoring service among other things. So many people told me that I would never make any money podcasting but I ignored them all and landed on my feet! I guess that's what can happen if you commit and Go All In!

After recording 177 episodes of Go All In show, I felt a pull towards a different format and subject matter, which I found myself frequently discussing both on my other shows and as a guest on others - news, society, and culture. With that shift in mind, I rebranded the Go All In podcast to "The Unspoken Truth" and have since found immense enjoyment exploring these new topics.

"The Unspoken Truth" aims to take the listener and viewer behind mainstream narratives, helping you to understand the hidden messages presented to us as a main stream narrative. It's an exciting and enlightening journey, and I can't wait to see where the next 177 episodes will take me!

After dedicating 9 years to service in the Royal Australian Navy and the Australian Army, I began my journey in small business, business development and start ups. Throughout my career, my roles have often centred around sales and sales management. I've had the privilege to market and sell a wide array of products and services, from sales training, aircraft tracking systems, and innovative Wi-Fi products, to blue-chip FMCGs.

No matter the role, my goal has always been to surpass set KPIs - a challenge that I've not just accepted, but thoroughly enjoyed. At the core of my sales strategy is a commitment to ensuring that customers never pay for something they don't need - a principle I attribute much of my success to.

My experience has made me comfortable presenting to diverse audiences - from small business owners to senior management in FMCGs - and I have always prioritized engaging with key decision-makers.

- Establishing new markets for several startups in the Australian market.

As both a business owner and an employee, I've gained extensive experience in all aspects of business. My background lies in marketing and fostering engagement, while my passion is rooted in sales. Together with my drive to launch new products, this combination has been a winning formula for success.

As you already know, there's nothing new under the sun so it's best to focus on what's simple and what's already working. I've seen so many people in start up space attempting to reinvent the wheel - it just doesn't work. 

Innovation is fine, disruption is fine but reinventing something rarely gets any traction. This pincipal has held true for me and is one of the keys to my logevity in the difficult times that we've all faced recently.

I believe that success in business, and life for that matter, lies in your foundations. Get the simple things right and everything else will fall in line behind - do this every day and watch your success skyrocket!

This philosophy isn't just a professional mantra for me. I've applied it holistically, across all life domains, and enjoyed the rewards of this simple yet positive outlook. The path to success in anything is never a straight line. The key is to take small steps, start where you are right now, and build on your victories. 

The inevitable setbacks that you'll encounter will pale in comparison to the successes you're striving for so make sure  you concentrate on your foundations and the simple strategies that already work!
