And there's an unfortunate misconception out there that health is difficult to build. 
That "exercise" = self-imposed suffering
That "healthy foods" = kale smoothies
That joint pain is normal.

My journey into nonprofit work stems from my own experiences transitioning out of military service, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges veterans face in accessing resources and support. This personal connection fuels my dedication to improving systems and creating opportunities for others.

My background in operations management, program development, and Records and Information Management (RIM) has enabled me to optimize nonprofit workflows, expand outreach efforts, and improve resource accessibility for veterans. In my dual roles as Operations Coordinator and Program Manager at Balanced Veterans Network, I focus on streamlining workflows and ensuring veterans receive critical support. I am also honing my expertise in process improvement (Six Sigma), data analysis, and project management to maximize impact in the nonprofit sector.

Looking ahead, I am exploring ways to expand my impact, whether through nonprofit leadership, policy work, or innovative programs that address systemic challenges for veterans and promote sustainability. To support this, I am working toward earning my CAPM certification and plan to pursue a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership, policy development, or a related field. By leveraging modern tools, including AI, I continuously seek innovative ways to enhance my work and communicate effectively.
