Your “Tell me about yourself” answer sets the tone.

Write it out, then rehearse it with a friend.

Ask for honest feedback on your:
 
• Voice and delivery
• Body language
• Message
 
Try to sound confident, natural, and conversational.
 
3. Prepare stories instead of scripted answers

For each common question, have a real example ready.
 
Use the STAR method:
 
• Situation
• Task
• Action
• Result
 
Stories are easier to remember and more engaging.

(Bonus: frameworks help reduce nerves.)
 
4. Look up your interviewers in advance
 
If you know who you’ll meet, check their LinkedIn.
 
This helps you:
 
• Create rapport
• Personalize your answers
• Prepare thoughtful questions
 
Shared backgrounds/experiences make great openers.
 
5. Decide on your outfit ahead of time

 Pick your interview outfit at least a week early.
 
Try it on and confirm that everything:
 
• Fits properly
• Is clean and ironed
• Makes you feel confident
 
This removes unnecessary stress on the day.

1) Seinfeld Technique
↳ Mark every day you complete a task you usually avoid.
↳ After 2 days, you will not want to break the streak.

2) 90/90/1 Rule
↳ Spend 90 minutes a day on your number one goal.
↳ Do so for 90 days and watch real change happen.

3) Eat The Frog 
↳ Tackle your hardest task first thing in the morning.
↳ This creates momentum for the rest of the day.

4) 5-Minute Rule 
↳ Commit to just 5 minutes on a difficult task.
↳ You can stop after 5 minutes, but you probably won't.

5) Pomodoro Technique 
↳ Work for 25 minutes, then pause for 5.
↳ After four rounds, take a longer break.

6) 2-Minute Rule
↳ If something takes less than 2 minutes, do it now.

7) Four Quarters Method 
↳ Split your day: morning, midday, afternoon, evening.

How to rewire your brain for longevity in 10 minutes:

Harvard research found optimists live up to 15% longer.

They also have a 70% higher chance of reaching age 85.

As my friend Nir Eyal argues, optimism is a trainable skill.

Here are 4 simple steps to to build it in just 10 minutes:

1) Set a short timer
↳ Block 10 to 15 minutes of uninterrupted time.
↳ No phone. No email. No distractions.

2) Imagine your best possible life 5 years from now
↳ Not fantasy. Not winning the lottery.
↳ Your realistic best case scenario after sustained effort.

3) Write it down across 3 domains
↳ Describe your life across its key domains.
↳ Personal. Relational. Professional.

4) Visualize a typical day
↳ Mentally walk through a typical day in that future life.
↳ Where are you? What are you doing? How do you feel?

Doing this exercise will not magically achieve your goals.
But it will change your outlook.

Once you create a mental blueprint,
your brain starts treating that future as achievable.

The goal is not to manifest outcomes.
