Marco Lopez is a business leader, former government official, and public servant who is passionate about helping others succeed. He is the CEO of Intermestic Partners, a business advisory firm that provides strategic business development and policy direction to both international and domestic organizations.

Marco has a proven track record of success in both the public and private sectors. He served as Mayor of Nogales, Arizona, at the age of 22, and was re-elected by an overwhelming majority. He also served as Chief of Staff at the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where he helped lead an organization with a $13+ billion budget and 60,000 employees.

In business, Marco founded Intermestic Partners in 2011. He has also served as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Grupo Carso and The Carlos Slim Foundation. He has also advised presidential campaigns on topics of border security and safety, border trade and commerce, and economic development.

Marco is a passionate advocate for Arizona and its people. He believes that every Arizonan has the potential to succeed and that Arizona is a special place where anything is possible if you work hard and have a vision.

The Gold Pants Club began with a simple mission: Beat Xichigan. While this is still at the heart of our mission, The Gold Pants Club wishes to evolve to follow the words of Woody Hayes and "pay forward". OSU Head Coach Francis Schmidt founded the "Pants Club" in 1934.

In addition to fulfilling the mission set forth in the original constitution, The Gold Pants Club has been transformed into a 501 (c) 3 entity to aid the student athletes and community that supports the team through charitable endeavors.

The Foster Alliance / Arizona Helping Hands (501c3) provides basic essential needs to boys and girls in the foster care system in Arizona. Our signature program is providing a brand new mattress and bedding to foster families when they have a child placed in their care. We also celebrate each child in foster care as a VIP on their birthday with a birthday gift and a kit to make a cake with candles! As a volunteer member of the Board of Directors, I help provide strategic direction to this rapidly-growing organization.

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Phoenix is a group of Ohio State Alumni and Fans that attend many events throughout the year including OSU Football Game Day Viewing Parties, Scholarship Fundraising, Volunteer Activities / Charitable Giving, Monthly Networking Happy Hours / Professional Networking - Buckeye 2 Buckeye, Social Sports / Recreation (flag football, softball, volleyball, bowling, kickball, etc...) and occasional group trips. 

We are the official alumni club in Phoenix for The Ohio State University Alumni Association (www.OSU.edu/alumni). Everyone is welcome to join our club as we are a Buckeye Family consisting of OSU Alumni, Fans and Young Professionals. 

We are always looking for OSU Fans and/or Alumni to join our board and committees in an effort to make a difference in our local community. If YOU want to make a difference, meet some fun & interesting people and volunteer some time back to your community, this is your chance!

You do not have to be an alumni of OSU to join our group. We are here to promote a positive social environment for anyone that loves the Buckeyes!
