Every year, 45-55 Indians graduate from Harvard Business School alone.

Add Stanford. Wharton. The rest of the Ivy League. Top engineering programs.

We're talking thousands of Indian graduates from the world's best universities - every single year.

Most go on to McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon.

And then something interesting happens.

A meaningful chunk of them move back to India.

Not because they couldn't stay. Not because they failed at the visa lottery.

Because the math just works - lower cost of living, closer to family, same caliber of work.

So now you have a talent pool in India with Ivy League degrees, MBB/bulge bracket training, and Western work culture - available at a fraction of US compensation.

Most companies haven't figured this out yet.

The ones that have aren't talking about it.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 “virtual assistants.”

So most US/UK companies have quietly lowered their expectations of what offshore hiring means.

Offshore =
• Inbox management
• Calendar coordination
• Basic admin
• Low-leverage execution

That’s the narrative.

But that’s not the ceiling.

There’s an entirely different tier of talent sitting outside the US right now:

– Former investment banking analysts
– Ex-MBB associates
– Big 4-trained controllers
– Strategy and ops professionals who have lived and worked in the US before moving back

If they were still in New York, London, or San Francisco, you would pay 3–4x the cost.

Same training.
Same intensity.
Same standards.

The only difference is geography.

Most firms never explore this layer because the offshore market has been conditioned around assistants - not operators.

There’s a massive gap between delegating tasks and delegating judgment.
Serious companies are starting to see it.

If you still think offshore equals “support,” you’re missing the bigger arbitrage.
