I’m not a productivity guru.

Recruiters shouldn’t have to be language testers.

In a lot of conversations with companies, one question kept coming back:
“Can Talio also test language skills?”

A vacancy requires Spanish, French or German.
But not every recruiter speaks that language. So someone else has to jump in. A colleague needs to be available and a quick call needs to be scheduled.

It creates friction within the team and increases the time-to-hire. And it’s definitely not the highest-value work a recruiter can do.

So we built something to solve this.

Talio can now run short, voice-based and context-specific language tests natively inside the interview flow. A few minutes of real conversation is usually enough to understand whether someone can actually speak the language and roughly to what degree.

No scheduling.
No dependency on who’s in the office.

And for candidates, no waiting days (or weeks) for someone to become available. They get clarity faster and move through the process quicker.

Recruiters should focus on judgment and deep conversations.
