Stabiliteit is een illusie. Vanaf dat we geboren zijn, veranderen we (gelukkig). Niemand zegt tegen een 2-jarige die leert stappen, nadat-ie voor de zoveelste keer omvalt, “laat maar kind – ’t is een verloren zaak.” Ook de samenleving verandert: we plooien minder terug op wat was, we verwelkomen ‘de ander’, we verkennen wie we dan zelf nog zijn, hoe we ons ‘verhouden tot’. 

Na de succesvolle afronding van mijn studies rechten (specialisatie internationaal en Europees recht - UAntwerpen) en de MaNaMa conflict en development (regiospecialisaties Sub-Sahara Afrika en Zuidwest Azië - UGent), baande ik me een weg in legal, vervolgens in sociaal-cultureel volwassenenwerk, om uit te monden in project management met focus op innovatie en inclusie.
Onderweg rondde ik trainingsprogramma’s af in natuurmanagement (Inverde) en bemiddeling in sociale zaken (UAntwerpen en UCLL).

Ik ben bestuurder voor verschillende social profit organisaties, extern deskundige voor het departement Jeugd, Cultuur en Media, en regelmatig lid van een jury en spreker op tal van events. Binnen het We Are Impact Collective mag ik bezig zijn met allerlei innovatieve initiatieven en samenwerkingen en als L&D specialist voor het Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos geef ik vorm aan een leercultuur als drager voor een lerende organisatie.

Als founder van Speaking Bug zet ik in op het vinden van woorden die betekenis versterken en verbinding mogelijk maken. Via training, workshops, podcast hosting, public speaking, strategy meetings en corporate sound boarding alinieer ik aandacht met intentie.


Waar ik energie uit haal

-	podcast productie
- projectmanagement binnen mature consortia
-	modereren van gesprekken
-	bijdragen aan sociaal kapitaal (velen hebben van mij al mailtjes gekregen die beginnen met ‘ik denk dat het goed zou zijn dat jullie in elkaars netwerk zitten..’)
-	workshops, vormingen, trainingen ontwikkelen rond inclusie, gender, groene en rode grenzen, inclusief leiderschap, continuous learning 
-	learning by doing (er zit wijsheid in efficiëntie en in het ownen van honest mistakes)
-	leren over catalytic philantropy, intergenerational gaps and bridges, unconscious bias, de mogelijkheden van AI, de beperkingen van ons brein, de wonderen van de natuur
