Marsh & McLennan are a global professional services business with circa 54,000 employees. 

I sat within the Insurance Broking business where Marsh is a global leader in the provision of insurance and risk management solutions predominantly focussed on the enterprise space.

I was responsible for defining, creating and developing marketing strategies and events for the most strategic and largest customers in terms of revenue within the UK. Within this space I was also responsible for creating marketing material, whitepapers, flyers etc on the vast range of products and services both for end customers and intermediaries.

The other half of my role was very much developing new business and upselling to existing customers. This was through working with the wider account management team and underwriters within the business to define proposals, policies and agreements that meet both the customer requirement and business expectations.

I coordinated all sales efforts and marketing efforts across 5 locations in the UK and some 120+ account managers and underwriters.

New business growth driven by myself over my time with Marsh was £2.3m with the most well attended events (both webinars/seminars) for two years running across the whole of the group in the UK.
