When we stop resisting the storms in our lives... no matter what form they take... the weather outside, intense pressure from stakeholders to keep growing or a stormy relationship... they stop resisting us.

We embrace the resistance and the storm magically passes.

This is exactly what happened when I painted in a blizzard a few years ago... the paint and the snow started to collaborate, making fascinating shapes on the canvas. At one point, there was so much snow, I couldn't even see the canvas let alone the palette.

The experience changed my life. I saw so clearly Mother Nature wants to collaborate with us.... the entire Universe does, including your partner, colleagues or industry players who claim otherwise until they are blue in the face.

As Rumi put it: ‘we are not a drop in the ocean, but the entire ocean in a drop.’
