Simple Machines

Working with one of the two biggest insurance groups in Australia on improving their business intelligence by supporting real-time multi-source data acquisition and processing based on Kafka, Spark, HCP and Greenplum platforms.

Participated in two ETL projects: one based on the real-time data processing enabled by Kafka and Spark Streaming with the other one developed around a more traditional daily batching approach supported by Airflow and PySpark running inside Kubernetes cluster.
