A lot of things happened over the weekend 

1) Spoke at TG10x in morning walks session, sold 19 books instantly (+1 gifted)  

2) Crossed 100 books sales on the same day (currently 125 sold)

3) printed 2nd batch of books and dispatched to Amazon (last 5 left from the first batch)

4) Did not have Zero books sales day so far(got book purchases every day from the launch)

5) Two nice people from my network suggested podcasts/Insta live and I applied to talk in one online (so 3 opportunities all with in next 7 days)

6) Got 10 5-star reviews on Amazon (and more of them to be approved by Amazon to be made live)

There are 4 types of people (the 4th type is the dangerous)

1) Unconditional love and support
These are people who will support you because, well, you are putting in the work.
These people may or may not know you, but  their nature is for you(and everyone) to succeed

2) Support from proof
These are people who will support you after seeing your journey and have built trust from you (most people)

3) Not your audiance
These are people who aren't the audience for your work. They are good people, just that, your work isn't a fit for them

4) <irrational> Humans
These are people who may have met you years ago and still refuse to believe you are doing great work now. Because they have an image of your immature self when you were young and stupid

I kind of didn't like crossing paths with this 4th kind of people until recently. Now started feeling pity for them that they have never grown as humans because they can't see growth in others and live in a decade(s) old delusion.

Publishing The Serotonin Addict exposed me with this truth again of different kinds of people.

My own book surprised me(in good ways)

Last month, I published my book, The Serotonin Addict.

I sent 80 copies to Amazon, hoping it would last for a few months.
They were sold out in 5 days.

Amazon replenished my stock after 12 days of shipping my books to them(the wait felt like forever).

Here is what happened in one month

My sales are close to 200 books now :) (both online and offline together)
- I have done 2 podcasts.
- 2 offline speaking engagements
- Books displayed/sold in Hyderabad Book Fair and Hyderabad Literary Fest
- Got 1 blog review
- 25 reviews on Physical copy, 1 on Kindle, 3 on Goodreads.
- About 35 people shared the book on their stories (check my Instagram highlights)
- I approached a few publishers (this may take a few months of work)

This is a surprise I did not expect for so much to happen in a month.

Next month I have

- 1 podcast with a wellness company
- Planning one offline launch (okay, I will start planning this week)
- I am planning 1-2 Insta-lives with friends who suggested they would interview me(one of them is an author)
- I have a few opportunities I can see, but I won’t share them until I discuss and finalise them.
- I want to give this book 6 months for all the promotions I can do. The first month went well.

I recently read "The Serotonin Addict" by Manoj Surya, and as a psychology student in my early 20s, it genuinely changed how I think about happiness, motivation, and emotional regulation.

What stood out to me the most was the idea that having even one thing in your control can make you feel powerful. At this stage of life, where career paths, identities, and future plans often feel uncertain, that perspective felt especially grounding. The book reinforces something psychology emphasizes but we often forget to apply personally: everyone needs something to look forward to.
I appreciate how hobbies were framed not as “time off,” but as meaningful activities that either build skills, expand knowledge, or deepen self-awareness. Even from a psychological lens, the idea that the process of pursuing a hobby can foster discipline and consistency aligns strongly with behavioral principles. The focus is not on motivation, but on showing up.

Another concept that resonated was viewing happiness like an investment. Placing all emotional dependence on one activity or one person can lead to unhealthy attachment. Diversifying sources of happiness creates emotional balance and resilience, something we study theoretically, but this book explains in a very accessible way.

The book also presents self-love in practical terms: setting priorities, letting go of what doesn’t serve you, and making space for activities that support both mental and physical well-being. Overall, The Serotonin Addict felt like a simple, realistic playbook for choosing hobbies, setting goals, and working toward them without feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to set on a new endeavour or is in the process of deciding to :)

- To build familiarity
- To build trust
- To get people onboard with you 

To be effective 

- You need to know what problem you are solving, very clearly
- Who you are solving it for, very clearly 
- Where they hangout (channels)
- Emotions you want to invoke in your prospective customers 
- How easy it is for them to start using your product 
- Then trade offs/ins - emotional/ monetary/social etc

It's embarrassing, but I'll reveal it: 

I open 5 tabs of people who write exceptionally. 
They write so well that you want to go into the screen and kiss them. 

I see 5 of their past posts. 
Look at their hooks and re-hooks.
Study their paragraph-wise transitions, spaces, grammar, etc. 

That's it. I have expertise in my industry already. 
I write in my own words and implement the style, the transitions and the line breaks. 

I then go into Canva and then do the image. 

Post is ready.

Ps. I need to get into a calm mood. A scrambled mind will ADHD the way out of this and write like a piece of sh*t. 

P.P.S. I get focus during diff times of the day.

Marketing was never meant to be reduced to dashboards, funnels, and fancy frameworks. It doesn’t live in personal brands, hacks, or shiny software. 

It lives in the mind of the person using them.

🚀 Marketing is intentional language.
🚀 Marketing is creating an imprint in someone’s memory.
🚀 Marketing is understanding real motivations and real fears, then connecting a product to them without pressure, guilt, or manipulation.

In 2026, choose to be on the side of the consumer.
Not the side of vanity metrics, internal panic, pointless “lead goals,” or endless self-doubt about whether you’re good enough.

Return to the fundamentals.
Clarity. Empathy. Honesty.
Stick to the basics.

I almost made a €50K mistake.
I was this close to diving into paid ads. Then laziness saved my career.
Here's what stopped me:

> The math made my head spin.

Conversion rates, CTR, ROAS, CPM, CPC...
I'd need a degree just to understand the dashboard.

But here's the real reason I stayed away:

The game has changed.

Tomorrow's CMOs aren't ad buyers.
They're content strategists.

The ones who grab attention.
The ones who build creative funnels.
The ones who turn brands into media companies.

Because here's what nobody talks about:

You need content to run ads, anyway.

The creative is what converts.
Not the targeting. (maybe)
Not the budget.
The story you tell.

So if you're a content creator considering paid ads...

Stop.

Learn video editing instead.

Every company on earth needs video editors right now.
Not more people who can click "boost post."

Content creators are already winning.

Don't abandon your advantage to chase someone else's game.
Your storytelling skills are worth more than any ad platform certification.

There’s a reason. You probably suck at formatting. Let’s fix that:

You forgot one key thing about good content ↓
❌ Good content isn’t just about what you know
✅ It’s also about how you present it

Avoid: 
• Long sentences
• Big blocks of text
• More than 4 emojis
• Packing multiple ideas into one post
• Overusing bold, italics, and underlines

Instead: 
• Use short, clear sentences
• Include a CTA every time
• Focus on ONE core idea
• Make it skimmable
• Add white space

Your prospect isn't reading your content. 
They're scanning it first. 

Then they hit follow.

If you're a "so-so" writer in 2026, everyone assumes AI will replace you.
Yet I'm in more demand than ever.

Not because of my writing.

If my job were just "producing content," AI wins every time.

But I have taste.
This means I know what to post, when to post it, and how to position it.

Attention = Industry belief X 10. 

❌ Don't just say "remote work has challenges."
✅ Say: "I'm convinced companies who do remote work will be left behind in 2026."

❌ Don't just say "Gen Z needs development."
✅ Say: "Gen Z is unreliable and your workplace shouldn't entertain unreliable people."

❌ Don't just say "SEO is evolving."
✅ Say: "SEO is long dead. Paid ads and LinkedIn to build a pipeline in 15 days."

You'll get pushback. You'll get disagreement. You'll get attention.
Because you're not being a puss and actually taking a stand on things you believe in.

Look at who stands out right now:
• Adam Robinson against big data companies
• Clark Barron against the B2B marketing that's broken
• Dave Gerhardt against the finance duties of a CMO
• Louis Grenier just being himself without apology

They're not famous because they're the best. They're famous because they're willing to be polarizing.

You're not standing out because you're afraid to stand out.

But it's 2026.

Stand out or blend in and get lost in the sea of sameness.

Make the choice.

Anyone who adds clarity to SEO in 2026 will win the SEO game.

The key? Personal experience over generic facts (which they can YouTube)

That's the difference between content people scroll past and content they save.

Pillar 2: Personal Stories

LinkedIn loves:
• The Uber driver who's secretly a CEO
• Hiring the scrappy candidate over the Harvard grad (even if you didn't)

But your version looks like:

• How you received an award and what this means for you (ref forbes guys)
• Your kid spilling coffee on your laptop during a client call
• The client you lost and how you bounced back
• Client wins with the emotion behind them
• A holiday selfie with your dog
