•	Strategic Initiatives and Advisory: Continuously engaged in advising on various strategic initiatives for TravelNet Solutions. My expertise in the short-term rental industry and experience in scaling businesses are instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction and response to evolving market dynamics.

•	Industry Trends and Developments: As an industry expert, I keep a pulse on the latest trends and developments in the travel and short-term rental sectors. My advisory role includes providing TravelNet with foresight and strategic recommendations to stay ahead in a rapidly changing industry landscape.

•	Innovative Market Leadership: Developed and launched a groundbreaking marketplace model, filling a significant gap in the short-term rental industry. This platform provided an unprecedented solution, simplifying and enhancing the rental process for homeowners and managers alike.

•	Exponential Revenue Growth: Under my leadership, VacationFutures experienced a meteoric rise in revenue, doubling each month at its peak. Over a span of three years, we achieved a 51-fold increase in revenue, a testament to the platform's value proposition and market fit.

•	Industry Recognition and Rankings: Our rapid growth and innovative business model earned VacationFutures a prestigious spot as the second fastest-growing travel company in the Inc. 500 list. Additionally, we were honored as the fourth fastest-growing company of any kind in the Financial Times ranking of the Americas’ fastest-growing companies in 2021.

What a great set of events in Hong Kong with Asia CEO COMMUNITY last week!

Some of the highlights:

- The pre-gala event, where I so met many interesting and inspiring execs doing great things across Asia!

- The pre-gala event was also held in an office space in one of the most beautiful malls. The festive decorations they had up were amazing (see picture). As a big shopper, I could get used to working in an office above a mall 🙂 . Hong Kong really knows how to do malls!

- A picture of my Thanksgiving dinner after the first event in HK - turns out you can find great Turkey all over the world 🦃 

- The CEO Gala Dinner was the highlight! Loved the speeches, entertainment, and people I met there. Was so impressed by how many others are expanding business across Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North America. AND I was so impressed by how dedicated to impact the organization is. 

Because of the fires in Hong Kong that took place just a few days earlier, a minute of silence was taken, as were donations to help the people affected. Gary Lam spoke about how they donated proceeds vs. giving gifts to the attendees. Many donated directly that night.  It was inspiring to see so many people come together to give back. I could feel the spirit of everyone joining together.

What a strong community Hong Kong has. It was an honor to experience it first hand!

Really enjoyed my time connecting with the fantastic group of CEOs at CEO Connection’s annual convention last month!

I had the opportunity to share my perspective on how to lean into attracting more board seats with the right visibility and positioning during one of the breakout sessions.

But that was far from all I learned and shared. The discussions about investing, M&A, AI, and health & well-being were all super insightful. 

The best part for me was connecting 1x1 with so many people leading amazing organizations into the future.

There were a lot of common themes appearing in the conversations, from how to embrace AI, to hiring challenges and the new global macro environment. It was the perfect opportunity to connect on a diverse range of topics.

The only negative - the foliage in the area wasn’t at peak bloom yet (hopefully next year as the Hudson Valley is beautiful) 🙂
