Additionally, I led the development and instruction of a training program to support developers and technical resources interested in learning SFMC. Lastly, I was the lead architect responsible for scoping and resource planning for all RFP responses and client proposals while managing a team of 10 Business Solution Architects. 

- Led training program for bench engineers that resulted in a 95% certification rate

I was asked to join RentPath and elevate the B2C email marketing program to a “world class level.”  Not for the real estate or rental industries, but world class for any industry.  Not a small task.  Given the KPIs we were given to measure our success, and the limitations of data and systems that exist internally, I would say that our team has done just that.  During my tenure, we became the second leading source of consumer leads within the organization, and demonstrated the need for the organization to look at the available data differently to take the renter experience to the next level. 

As a 2 sided marketplace, being able to service consumers and customers is equally important.  Even though I was brought in for the B2C side, I immediately became the primary Salesforce Marketing Cloud resource for the B2B side of the business. In that capacity, I was responsible for building and maintaining automations and journeys, while working closely with the SFDC team to ensure the right data is in place to meet the requirements of projects that came from the B2B teams.  Due to this, I had a dotted-line relationship to the CTO in addition to my direct line to the CMO.

Beyond these responsibilities, I also owned the relationships (and associated budgets) with a number of vendors.  These include deliverability, render testing, list hygiene, and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

I was asked to join Trendline in it’s early days as the 35th employee.  In the capacity as lead of Solutions Consulting, I was expected to:
- stay abreast of emerging technologies from Email Service Providers and Internet Service Providers alike
- lead a team of technologists that ensure each client is using the right email technology for their needs, and getting the most out of it
- serve as a solutions architect for clients on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. 
- lead discovery engagements wherein we document existing email systems, data sources, and processes and advise on improvements or recommend platform migrations. 

This was a 100% remote role with travel as needed.
