1) Comments

They build a list of the right accounts... people they want to be known well to (ICPs, influencers with their buyers).

They show up every day, pay attention to posting times, and leave insightful comments.

These look like mini-posts, because their aim is to make impact and become known to the right people.

2) They have an indoctrination content ladder

They don’t create for mass appeal.

They understand what’s required to take their specific ICP from skeptic to ready-to-buy ... and they focus on that ruthlessly.

These posts might get less than 10 likes… but the DMs are on fire.

3) They have an outbound motion that feels like inbound

They may not get the turbo reach of big accounts, but dialled-in content lets LinkedIn bring the right people to them.

They leverage profile views, engagement, and followers to start conversations with members of their small but mighty Known Well audience.

Using AI tools, they automate the top of this conversation and only jump in when people are interested and responding.

That’s how you get 10 people to wire you $100k.

There’s a new breed of agency founder emerging in 2026.

P.S I took these photos on my 4th holiday of last year with my Colombiana. It was the 3rd time I went to the Carribean. And it was only made possible by having a agency with the right systems to replace me as the bottle neck. You can do it too.

Yesterday I had a call with two guys who’ve built outbound DM workflows for some of the biggest 7-figure agencies and 7-figure creators.

What they said to me made my blood go cold about client acquisition on LinkedIn.

Here’s what happened:

Me: “What have your other clients been seeing on LinkedIn? I’ve seen a drop-off in inbound leads. If we didn’t do warm outbound, we would be broke tomorrow.”

Consultant: “We’ve definitely seen clients getting less engagement across the board, and that’s meant less intent to contact from posts.”

Me: “**** I know it feels tough out there right now. We’re booking calls, but it really feels like the bar has gone way up… In your opinion, do you think it’s all going to ZERO?!”

Consultant: “Not at all. We’ve seen teams equipped with the right processes and systems booking 1–2 meetings every day.”

He paused for a moment and followed up with:

“The bar is set so low on how to progress prospect conversations, it’s never been easier to stand out.”

Here’s what I took from that convo:

There is one hell of an opportunity right now on LinkedIn for agencies who approach and invest real time and focus into their LinkedIn warm outbound.

If you’re willing to figure it out yourself or leverage an expert backed by the right technology, you can gain an insane advantage.

Because here’s the truth…

Your competition still thinks a no-context “pitch slap” message on connect is lead gen.

My advice?

Go deep on creating your founder-led brand with actual insight that’s unique to you. 

Don’t rip your posts straight from AI. 

Use it to scale your ideas and edit the output. Don’t lose the human.

The inevitable outcome of becoming an actual creator is that it’s going to bring you niche authority over time so the algorithm puts your content in front of buyers.

Truly understand the talk tracks that lead to buyers responding, answering, and moving to calls from your LinkedIn profile.

Have a human element responding in your DMs. Founder preferred, but once the process is dialled, a setter can handle it.

You just ned to have meaningful conversations with your customers.

My client Joya Dass fired us after we doubled her business.

Then rehired us to build her in-house Atticus Predictable LinkedIn Sales system.

Phase 1 - October 2024 - August 2025

When we started with Joya Dass, Women’s Leadership Lab sat at 5 sales calls a week.

If you’ve been trying to get your company appear on ChatGPT or Claude, start posting more on LinkedIn.

It’s the #2 source used by LLMs to source data.

Hence, if you’re not posting on LinkedIn, but still trying to get your company featured on LLMs, you won’t win.

If your personal LinkedIn profiles are empty, LLMs lose out on sourcing info about you in order to display it.

I don’t understand why companies still don’t post HEAVILY on LinkedIn, which is the biggest B2B network out there.

If you implement the right strategy, you can do everything.

The worst way to approach LinkedIn as a company:

Telling everyone internally, “Just start posting”, without any strategy, direction, or clarity on what or why.

What happens next is predictable.

Most people never start, because “just post” is not advice.

A few do start, and end up promoting the company in every post, which quietly alienates everyone watching.

Ask yourself this honestly: Would you follow a creator who only talks about their company?

Probably not.

The better approach is simpler and far more effective.

Each function should own their lane.

Growth leaders talk about what’s working, what’s not, new experiments, and real takeaways from the growth world.

Engineers talk about systems, tradeoffs, mistakes, and how things actually break or scale.

Product managers talk about decisions, prioritisation, user pain, and lessons learned.

HR talks about hiring, culture, retention, and what candidates actually get wrong.

That is how a company builds a credible presence on LinkedIn.

If you’re leading marketing or employer branding, share this internally.

People need more direction, not motivation.

Your content can be good and still fail on LinkedIn. Here’s why.

I got a DM that perfectly explains why most B2B LinkedIn content fails.

This person runs a fractional CTO-style business.
Happy clients. Strong referrals. Real results.
Yet LinkedIn was doing almost nothing for them.

They were posting but nothing was happening.

The problem showed up in two minutes.

Their content talked about everything except the problems they solve.

Music. Personal interests. General thoughts.
All fine on their own. Completely misaligned with what they sell.

Here’s the shift we made.

Instead of asking, “What should I post?”

I asked, “Why do startups hire you in the first place?”

The answer was obvious once said out loud:

Early-stage startups don’t know how to set up engineering properly.

They don’t know what to build first.

They don’t know when to hire, outsource, or slow down.

They move fast in the wrong direction and pay for it later.

That right there is the entire content strategy. This is what their strategy should’ve looked like:

• What startups get wrong when setting up tech
• How to avoid production disasters
• When building in-house makes sense
• When outsourcing quietly kills momentum
• What actually helps teams move faster without breaking things

95% of their content should live here. The rest can be personal, reflective, human.

The smaller the gap between what you post and what you sell, the more aligned your audience becomes.

If your content feels invisible, it’s usually not an algorithm problem. It’s a positioning one.

Everyone follows these 3 content strategies on LinkedIn, and 2 of them are wrong.

1. Your posts are all over the place.

For example- You’re building in AI robotics, but your posts are about sharing your personal life, hobbies, fundraising, startup advice, politics, hiring, etc. 

It’s okay to post out of strategy once in a while, but if your strategy looks like you posted about whatever you were thinking 5 minutes before you opened LinkedIn, it’s not a strategy. And it’s probably not getting you any results you want either.

2. Your posts are all about your company.

Your engagement is probably already telling you this, but people do not care. I’m sorry, but people are selfish. 

No matter how well your company is solving problems, building up efficiencies, improving workflows - people do not care unless your content offers them something in return.

3. Your posts are about your industry and your target audience.

People from your industry should find your posts insightful/educational. It should teach them something. This is what builds your authority in long-term, and makes you a thought leader. 

Follow this, and you’ll make the absolute most out of this platform.
